Ramadan mode
Ramadan mode is its own page at qurangallery.com/prayer/calendar/ramadan. It’s available year-round, but comes into its own during Ramadan — outside it you’ll see “Ramadan mode will activate automatically during Ramadan” with a preview. It surfaces:
- Suhur and Iftar countdowns for the day, each with the exact time. The Suhur card turns red in the final 30 minutes.
- A Fasting Tracker — a strip of the 30 days where you tap each day to cycle it through Fasted, Missed, and Qada (to make up later).
- Taraweeh attendance, with the Juz recited noted per night.
- The Last 10 Nights, highlighting Laylatul Qadr on the odd nights.
No sign-in needed. The fasting and Taraweeh trackers save in your browser on this device. They aren’t tied to an account, so they won’t follow you to another phone or browser.
Travel mode
Travel mode adjusts prayers when you’re away from home — it can auto-detect when “You appear to be traveling” (showing your distance in km from home), or you can turn it on with Enable Travel Mode. It offers:
- Shortened prayers (Qasr) — the four-rakat prayers reduced to 2 rakat.
- Combine Prayers (Jam’) — pray two prayers together, either taqdim (“Pray both at earlier time”) or takhir (“Pray both at later time”).
The distance that counts as travelling depends on your Madhab setting: the Hanafi threshold is roughly 80 km, while the Shafiʿi (and Maliki/Hanbali) threshold is about 77 km — so changing your madhab in Prayer Settings also changes when travel mode offers itself.

The prayer-times widget
An embeddable prayer-times widget lives at qurangallery.com/prayer/widget — drop it into another page to show prayer times outside the main app.
