Free in the Browser: No Install, No Ads

Quran Gallery runs in any browser: free, no ads, account optional. What works without an account, what works offline, and what sign-in adds.

On this page

Quran Gallery is a set of web apps. You open them in a browser at qurangallery.com, with nothing to download from a store. It is free and carries no ads. An account is optional: you can read and listen first and sign in later.

No install, no ads

  • Free. You do not pay to read, listen or use the apps this page names. See the suite for the full list of apps.
  • No ads. The suite carries no advertising. See the Quran reader FAQ and Listen.
  • No store-listed mobile apps. There is no Quran Gallery app in the App Store or Google Play. The apps open in the browser on iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac and Windows.

What works without an account

AppWithout signing in
QuranRead the text, translations and tafsir, play audio and use repeat.
ListenEverything plays. Favourites, history, playlists and your Quran challenge stay on this device.
AdhkarRead every dhikr. Your streak and history are saved in this browser.
PrayerSet a location and see the prayer times. Reminders are tied to this browser.
NaziraStart a lesson straight away.
StudioWork as a guest. The design stays in this browser, so download it to keep it.

Blog and Docs are open to read. This page has not confirmed what Maktabah, Mirath, Rijal, Madrasah and the other apps allow signed out, so it does not list them.

What needs an account

  • Quran reader: bookmarks, highlights, notes, collections, reading plans and streaks.
  • Chat: asking a question needs an account. A shared conversation can be read without one.

Everything else on this page can be used signed out. Sync across devices lists every app.

What signing in adds

You sign in once at accounts.qurangallery.com, and the same account works in every app. Signed in, the apps save your data to the account, so your bookmarks, notes and progress appear on any device where you sign in. There is no sync switch. See Sync bookmarks, notes and progress across devices for what syncs, and Your Quran Gallery account for the account itself.

Install it as a web app

You can add some apps to your home screen or desktop. Quran, Listen, Adhkar, Prayer, Madrasah and Nazira each publish a web app manifest, so the browser can offer to install them as a full-screen app. The other apps open in the browser; this page does not promise an install option for them.

  • Chrome (Android and desktop): open the app, open the menu, then choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
  • Safari (iPhone and iPad): tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.

The Apps page has the steps for each browser.

What works offline

Only the Quran surah text works offline. Open the Quran once while online. The reader then downloads surahs in the background, with the Arabic script, translations and word-by-word you have selected. Audio, tafsir and other views still need a connection, and a device that has never loaded the Quran cannot start offline. See Offline reading.

Listen does not keep recordings for offline playback. Download gives you an MP3 file that you play in your device’s own audio player. See Listen.

This page makes no offline claim for any other feature. Do not assume it works without a connection.
