A reading plan turns “finish the Qur’an” into a clear daily habit. You pick how long you want to take, and the plan works out how much to read each day and lays out a schedule you can tick off. Plans live at /plans.
Plans save to your account, so your schedule and progress follow you across devices. Sign in or create an account at

Creating a plan
From the Plans page, choose Create a Reading Plan. The fastest start is a preset — one tap sets up a full khatam over a fixed span:
| Preset | Finishes the Qur’an in |
|---|---|
| 30-Day Khatam | One month. |
| 6-Month Khatam | Half a year. |
| 1-Year Khatam | Twelve months. |
Prefer your own pace? Choose create a custom plan and set:
- Plan Name — what to call it.
- Start Date and End Date — the window you want to read across.
- Off Days (optional) — tap any weekdays you’d like to skip, and the plan won’t schedule reading on them.
Daily targets
You don’t set a verses-per-day number directly — the plan calculates it. As you change the dates and off days, it shows a live estimate like ~21 verses/day, spreading the whole Qur’an evenly across your active reading days. Pick a shorter window and the daily share rises; add off days and the remaining days carry a little more.
If a plan works out to a heavy daily load, the form flags it and suggests extending your end date — so you set a pace you can actually keep.
When everything looks right, choose Create Plan.
The day-by-day reading view
Open any day to read exactly what’s scheduled for it. The day view shows that day’s verses in full — Arabic with your translation beneath — so there’s no hunting for where to start or stop. Move between days with the previous / next day controls at the top.
When you’ve finished the day’s reading, choose Mark as Complete. The day is checked off and a Continue to Day {next} button appears, so you can roll straight into tomorrow’s portion. Finish the final day and the plan greets you with a Congratulations! note and an invitation to start another.
Tracking your progress
The plan’s overview page is your dashboard for the whole journey:
- A progress bar showing
{completed}of{total}days completed and the percentage done. - A Continue Reading button that drops you back into the next unread day.
- A Daily Schedule list of every day — each labelled with its date and the surah and verses it covers, and marked complete or not at a glance.
Because the schedule is laid out day by day, you can always see how far you’ve come and exactly what’s next — a full khatam as one visible, finishable path.
