Nazira’s content is one long path you climb from the bottom up. This page explains how that path is laid out and the rules that decide what you can play next.
The three levels
The path is split into three levels by difficulty. All three are available from the start, but you’ll naturally work through them in order.
| Level | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Beginner | Foundational short surahs you already hear in daily prayer — Al-Fātiḥah, An-Nās, Al-Falaq, Al-Ikhlāṣ, and more. |
| Intermediate | Mid-length surahs of the last Juz — richer vocabulary, fuller āyāt. |
| Advanced | The longer surahs of the last Juz, plus Āyat al-Kursī — for confident readers. |
On the Learn path, each level has a header showing its name and a short description. You can also open a level on its own page to focus on just that tier.
Units
Inside a level, lessons are grouped into units. Almost every unit is a single surah — for example, the Al-Fātiḥah unit, the An-Nās unit, the Al-Ikhlāṣ unit. Each unit shows a coloured banner on the path with the surah’s name and its English meaning (for instance, An-Nās — Mankind).
A unit is made of a handful of lessons that walk through the surah a few āyāt at a time, from the first verse to the last.
Lessons
A lesson is the unit you actually play — a few minutes of short exercises covering a small range of āyāt from the surah. Lessons come in two kinds:
| Lesson kind | What’s different |
|---|---|
| Normal | A standard lesson, shown as a sparkle node on the path. |
| Boss | The final, slightly tougher lesson of a unit — shown with a crown. Clear it to complete the unit. |
Each lesson contains a short set of exercises drawn from the real words of its āyāt. The exercises are stable — you’ll see the same set each time you revisit a lesson, so practice builds on familiar ground.
How lessons unlock
The path opens up one step at a time:
- The very first lesson of the first unit is always open.
- Every other lesson stays locked until you complete the lesson right before it.
- Finishing the last lesson of a unit unlocks the first lesson of the next unit.
A locked lesson shows a padlock and can’t be opened. Your current lesson — the first one you haven’t finished yet — is highlighted with a glowing ring and a Start label so it’s easy to find when you come back.
You don’t have to finish a lesson in one sitting, but you do have to finish it to unlock the next one. There’s no way to skip ahead past a locked lesson.
Tracking your progress
As you go, completed lessons turn green with a check mark, so the path becomes a visible record of how far you’ve come. Your overall counts — total lessons completed, XP, and streak — live on the You tab, covered in Profile & settings.
Reading a level on its own
Tapping into a level opens a page dedicated to just that tier, showing all of its units and the same winding lesson path. The unlock rules are identical — it’s simply a focused view when you want to see one level’s surahs without scrolling the whole journey.
