Favorites

Favorites is your personal shortlist of recitations. Save the ones you return to often, and they are all in one place the next time you visit. No account is required.

Saving a favorite

Wherever a surah is shown there is a way to save it: on a reciter’s surah list, open the row’s ⋮ menu and choose Favorite (favorited rows show a small filled heart); on a single-surah page, in the home browser, and on other cards, tap the heart directly. Choose or tap it again to remove it.

Each favorite remembers the exact recording: the reciter, the riwāyah, and the surah. So if you favorite the same surah from two different reciters, both are kept separately.

Finding your favorites

Open Favorites from the top navigation, or go to /favorites. Your saved recitations appear as a grid of cards. From there you can:

• Tap a card to play it.
• Tap the heart on a card to remove it from the list.

Where favorites are stored

Favorites are saved on the device and browser you are using — not to an account. They will be waiting for you next time you open Listen on the same device, but they do not follow you to a different phone or computer, and clearing your browser data removes them.

If your list is empty, the page invites you to Browse reciters to start building it.
