Reading fluency fades if you don’t come back to what you’ve learned. The Review tab is where you revisit lessons you’ve already finished so the words stay familiar.
Opening Review
Tap Review in the bottom bar. The page gathers the lessons you’ve completed and lines them up for another pass.
The lessons you finished longest ago surface first — the idea being that older material is the most in need of a refresher, while something you did this morning can wait. Up to eight lessons appear in the queue at once.
What you’ll see
| Part | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Next up | A highlighted card with the single lesson most due for review. Tap Start to jump straight into it. |
| Queue | A numbered list of the other lessons waiting for review, each labelled with its surah and unit. |
Tap any item in the queue to replay that lesson. A review run is the same lesson you completed before — the same exercises, on the same āyāt — so it’s a low-pressure way to read the words again.
If there’s nothing to review
If you haven’t finished any lessons yet, Review shows an empty state inviting you to complete a lesson first. Once you do, it’ll appear here for revisiting.
How review fits your habit
Reviewing counts as practice: replaying a lesson earns XP and counts toward your daily goal and streak just like a new lesson does. So on a day when you don’t feel like pushing into new material, a review pass still keeps your streak alive and your reading sharp.
A short review session is one of the easiest ways to protect your streak on a busy day — it’s familiar material, so it goes quickly.
What’s coming
Today, Review orders lessons by how long ago you finished them. A more precise spaced-repetition schedule — one that tracks how well you remember each lesson and times reviews accordingly — is planned for a future update. Until then, working through the queue from the top is the recommended way to keep everything fresh.
