The deceased's father's full brother — the paternal uncle. A residuary who inherits when no nearer agnate, such as a brother or nephew, is alive.

No inheritance verse of Sūrat an-Nisāʾ (4:11, 4:12, 4:176) names a share for the full paternal uncle; their place follows the rules the scholars derived from the Sunnah and those verses.
