Does the son's daughter inherit when there is a son?
No. In all four schools a son excludes the son's daughter entirely (ḥajb).
Whom does the son's daughter exclude?
In all four schools a single son's daughter excludes: maternal brother, maternal sister, daughter's son, daughter's daughter, sister's son, sister's daughter, maternal grandfather, maternal uncle, maternal aunt, and paternal aunt.
Do the four schools agree on the share of the son's daughter?
Yes. In every situation computed here the Ḥanafī, Mālikī, Shāfiʿī and Ḥanbalī schools give the same share.
