وأصل هذه النسخة محفوظ في المكتبة المركزية لجامع البصرة.
وعنه نسخة مصورة في معهد المخطوطات التابع لجامعة الدول العربية في القاهرة برقم (١٨٢) حديث غير مفهرس.
وصف مخطوط «المختصر من نخبة الفِكَر»
وهي نسخة بخط واضح فُرغ من نسخها سنة (١٣٢٦ هـ) وليس عليها اسم الناسخ.
وقد ذكر أنه نسخها عن نسخة بخط محمد الشيخ، فرغ من نسخها سنة (١٣٢٤) وهي محفوظة ضمن مجموع في مكتبة جامعة الإمام محمد بن مسعود رقم (٤٩٨٧).
