Ayat
- 40:12 Ghafir ٱلْعَلِىِّ ذَٰلِكُم بِأَنَّهُۥٓ إِذَا دُعِىَ ٱللَّهُ وَحْدَهُۥ كَفَرْتُمْ ۖ وَإِن يُشْرَكْ بِهِۦ تُؤْمِنُوا۟ ۚ فَٱلْحُكْمُ لِلَّهِ ٱلْعَلِىِّ ٱلْكَبِيرِ [They will be told], ‘This is all because when God alone was invoked you rejected this, yet when others were associated with Him you believed [in them].’ Judgement belongs to God the Most High, the Most Great.
- 42:4 Ash-Shuraa ٱلْعَلِىُّ لَهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَلِىُّ ٱلْعَظِيمُ All that is in the heavens and earth belongs to Him: He is the Exalted, the Almighty.
- 42:51 Ash-Shuraa عَلِىٌّ ۞ وَمَا كَانَ لِبَشَرٍ أَن يُكَلِّمَهُ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا وَحْيًا أَوْ مِن وَرَآئِ حِجَابٍ أَوْ يُرْسِلَ رَسُولًا فَيُوحِىَ بِإِذْنِهِۦ مَا يَشَآءُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِىٌّ حَكِيمٌ It is not granted to any mortal that God should speak to him except through revelation or from behind a veil, or by sending a messenger to reveal by His command what He will: He is exalted and wise.
- 43:4 Az-Zukhruf لَعَلِىٌّ وَإِنَّهُۥ فِىٓ أُمِّ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ لَدَيْنَا لَعَلِىٌّ حَكِيمٌ It is truly exalted in the Source of Scripture kept with Us, and full of wisdom.
- 44:19 Ad-Dukhan تَعْلُوا وَأَن لَّا تَعْلُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنِّىٓ ءَاتِيكُم بِسُلْطَـٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ Do not consider yourselves to be above God! I come to you with clear authority.
- 44:31 Ad-Dukhan عَالِيًۭا مِن فِرْعَوْنَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَالِيًا مِّنَ ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ at the hands of Pharaoh: he was a tyrant who exceeded all bounds.
- 47:35 Muhammad ٱلْأَعْلَوْنَ فَلَا تَهِنُوا۟ وَتَدْعُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱلسَّلْمِ وَأَنتُمُ ٱلْأَعْلَوْنَ وَٱللَّهُ مَعَكُمْ وَلَن يَتِرَكُمْ أَعْمَـٰلَكُمْ So [believers] do not lose heart and cry out for peace. It is you who have the upper hand: God is with you. He will not begrudge you the reward for your [good] deeds:
- 53:7 An-Najm ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ وَهُوَ بِٱلْأُفُقِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ on the highest horizon
- 63:5 Al-Munafiqun تَعَالَوْا وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا۟ يَسْتَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ لَوَّوْا۟ رُءُوسَهُمْ وَرَأَيْتَهُمْ يَصُدُّونَ وَهُم مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ They turn their heads away in disdain when they are told, ‘Come, so that the Messenger of God may ask forgiveness for you,’ and you see them walking away arrogantly.
- 69:22 Al-Haqqah عَالِيَةٍ فِى جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ in a lofty Garden,
- 72:3 Al-Jinn تَعَـٰلَىٰ وَأَنَّهُۥ تَعَـٰلَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا ٱتَّخَذَ صَـٰحِبَةً وَلَا وَلَدًا and that He––exalted be the glory of our Lord!––has neither spouse nor child.
- 76:21 Al-Insan عَـٰلِيَهُمْ عَـٰلِيَهُمْ ثِيَابُ سُندُسٍ خُضْرٌ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٌ ۖ وَحُلُّوٓا۟ أَسَاوِرَ مِن فِضَّةٍ وَسَقَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ شَرَابًا طَهُورًا they will wear garments of green silk and brocade; they will be adorned with silver bracelets; their Lord will give them a pure drink.
- 79:24 An-Nazi'at ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ فَقَالَ أَنَا۠ رَبُّكُمُ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ ‘I am your supreme lord,’
- 83:18 Al-Mutaffifin عِلِّيِّينَ كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَـٰبَ ٱلْأَبْرَارِ لَفِى عِلِّيِّينَ No indeed! The list of the truly good is in 'Illiyyin––
- 83:19 Al-Mutaffifin عِلِّيُّونَ وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَ what will explain to you what 'Illiyyin is?––
- 87:1 Al-A'la ٱلْأَعْلَى سَبِّحِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلْأَعْلَى [Prophet], glorify the name of your Lord the Most High,
- 88:10 Al-Ghashiyah عَالِيَةٍ فِى جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ in a lofty garden,
- 92:20 Al-Layl ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ إِلَّا ٱبْتِغَآءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ but for the sake of his Lord the Most High––
