The times for Hermannsburg use the Standard Asr time. Asr begins when an object's shadow equals its own length, added to its shadow at solar noon. For nights when the usual Fajr or Isha time cannot be reached, prayer times for Hermannsburg use the One seventh of the night rule. On nights when the sun does not sink as far as the method's twilight angle, Fajr is no earlier than one seventh of the night before sunrise and Isha no later than one seventh of the night after sunset. The Moonsighting Committee applies it above 55° latitude.
