- 3:167 Ali 'Imran يَوْمَئِذٍ وَلِيَعْلَمَ ٱلَّذِينَ نَافَقُوا۟ ۚ وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا۟ قَـٰتِلُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أَوِ ٱدْفَعُوا۟ ۖ قَالُوا۟ لَوْ نَعْلَمُ قِتَالًا لَّٱتَّبَعْنَـٰكُمْ ۗ هُمْ لِلْكُفْرِ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَقْرَبُ مِنْهُمْ لِلْإِيمَـٰنِ ۚ يَقُولُونَ بِأَفْوَٰهِهِم مَّا لَيْسَ فِى قُلُوبِهِمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَكْتُمُونَ when it was said to them, ‘Come, fight for God’s cause, or at least defend yourselves,’ answered, ‘We would follow you if we knew there was going to be fighting.’ On that day they were closer to disbelief than belief. They say with their tongues what is not in their hearts: God knows exactly what they conceal.
- 4:42 An-Nisa يَوْمَئِذٍ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَعَصَوُا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ لَوْ تُسَوَّىٰ بِهِمُ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَلَا يَكْتُمُونَ ٱللَّهَ حَدِيثًا On that day, those who disbelieved and disobeyed the Prophet will wish that the earth could swallow them up: they will not be able to hide anything from God.
- 6:16 Al-An'am يَوْمَئِذٍ مَّن يُصْرَفْ عَنْهُ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمَهُۥ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْمُبِينُ God will have been truly merciful to whoever is spared on that Day: that is the clearest triumph.’
- 7:8 Al-A'raf يَوْمَئِذٍ وَٱلْوَزْنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْحَقُّ ۚ فَمَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ On that Day the weighing of deeds will be true and just: those whose good deeds are heavy on the scales will be the ones to prosper,
- 8:16 Al-Anfal يَوْمَئِذٍ وَمَن يُوَلِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ دُبُرَهُۥٓ إِلَّا مُتَحَرِّفًا لِّقِتَالٍ أَوْ مُتَحَيِّزًا إِلَىٰ فِئَةٍ فَقَدْ بَآءَ بِغَضَبٍ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَمَأْوَىٰهُ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ if anyone does so on such a day- unless maneuvring to fight or to join a fighting group- he incurs the wrath of God, and Hell will be his home, a wretched destination!
- 11:66 Hud يَوْمِئِذٍ فَلَمَّا جَآءَ أَمْرُنَا نَجَّيْنَا صَـٰلِحًا وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَعَهُۥ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِّنَّا وَمِنْ خِزْىِ يَوْمِئِذٍ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ ٱلْقَوِىُّ ٱلْعَزِيزُ this warning will not prove false.’ And so, when Our command was fulfilled, by Our mercy We saved Salih and his fellow believers from the disgrace of that day. [Prophet], it is your Lord who is the Strong, the Mighty One.
- 14:49 Ibrahim يَوْمَئِذٍ وَتَرَى ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ يَوْمَئِذٍ مُّقَرَّنِينَ فِى ٱلْأَصْفَادِ you [Prophet] will see the guilty on that Day, bound together in fetters,
- 16:87 An-Nahl يَوْمَئِذٍ وَأَلْقَوْا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلسَّلَمَ ۖ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ and on that Day they will offer total submission to God: their false deities will desert them.
- 18:99 Al-Kahf يَوْمَئِذٍ ۞ وَتَرَكْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَمُوجُ فِى بَعْضٍ ۖ وَنُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَجَمَعْنَـٰهُمْ جَمْعًا On that Day, We shall let them surge against each other like waves and then the Trumpet will be blown and We shall gather them all together.
- 18:100 Al-Kahf يَوْمَئِذٍ وَعَرَضْنَا جَهَنَّمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْكَـٰفِرِينَ عَرْضًا We shall show Hell to the disbelievers,
- 20:102 Taha يَوْمَئِذٍ يَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِى ٱلصُّورِ ۚ وَنَحْشُرُ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ يَوْمَئِذٍ زُرْقًا When the trumpet is sounded and We gather the sinful, sightless,
- 20:108 Taha يَوْمَئِذٍ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَّبِعُونَ ٱلدَّاعِىَ لَا عِوَجَ لَهُۥ ۖ وَخَشَعَتِ ٱلْأَصْوَاتُ لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ فَلَا تَسْمَعُ إِلَّا هَمْسًا On that Day, people will follow the summoner from whom there is no escape; every voice will be hushed for the Lord of Mercy; only whispers will be heard.
- 20:109 Taha يَوْمَئِذٍ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا تَنفَعُ ٱلشَّفَـٰعَةُ إِلَّا مَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ وَرَضِىَ لَهُۥ قَوْلًا On that Day, intercession will be useless except from those to whom the Lord of Mercy has granted permission and whose words He approves-
- 22:56 Al-Hajj يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْمُلْكُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلَّهِ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ فَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ فِى جَنَّـٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ On that Day control will belong to God: He will judge between them. Those who believe and do good deeds will be admitted to Gardens of Delight,
- 23:101 Al-Mu'minun يَوْمَئِذٍ فَإِذَا نُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَلَآ أَنسَابَ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَلَا يَتَسَآءَلُونَ On that Day when the Trumpet is blown, the ties between them will be as nothing and they will not ask about each other:
- 24:25 An-Nur يَوْمَئِذٍ يَوْمَئِذٍ يُوَفِّيهِمُ ٱللَّهُ دِينَهُمُ ٱلْحَقَّ وَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ ٱلْمُبِينُ on that Day, God will pay them their just due in full- and they will realize that God is the Truth that makes everything clear.
- 25:22 Al-Furqan يَوْمَئِذٍ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ لَا بُشْرَىٰ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُجْرِمِينَ وَيَقُولُونَ حِجْرًا مَّحْجُورًا There will be no good news for the guilty on the Day they see the angels. The angels will say, ‘You cannot cross the forbidden barrier,’
- 25:24 Al-Furqan يَوْمَئِذٍ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَيْرٌ مُّسْتَقَرًّا وَأَحْسَنُ مَقِيلًا But the companions in the Garden will have a better home on that Day, and a fairer place to rest.
- 25:26 Al-Furqan يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْمُلْكُ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْحَقُّ لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ۚ وَكَانَ يَوْمًا عَلَى ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ عَسِيرًا on that Day, true authority belongs to the Lord of Mercy. It will be a grievous Day for the disbelievers.
- 27:89 An-Naml يَوْمَئِذٍ مَن جَآءَ بِٱلْحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُۥ خَيْرٌ مِّنْهَا وَهُم مِّن فَزَعٍ يَوْمَئِذٍ ءَامِنُونَ whoever comes with a good deed will be rewarded with something better, and be secure from the terrors of that Day,
- 28:66 Al-Qasas يَوْمَئِذٍ فَعَمِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْأَنۢبَآءُ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَهُمْ لَا يَتَسَآءَلُونَ All arguments will seem obscure to them on that Day; they will not be able to consult one another.
- 30:4 Ar-Rum وَيَوْمَئِذٍ فِى بِضْعِ سِنِينَ ۗ لِلَّهِ ٱلْأَمْرُ مِن قَبْلُ وَمِنۢ بَعْدُ ۚ وَيَوْمَئِذٍ يَفْرَحُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ in a few years’ time––God is in command, first and last. On that day, the believers will rejoice
- 30:14 Ar-Rum يَوْمَئِذٍ وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَفَرَّقُونَ When the Hour arrives, on that Day people will be separated:
- 30:43 Ar-Rum يَوْمَئِذٍ فَأَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ ٱلْقَيِّمِ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِىَ يَوْمٌ لَّا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ۖ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصَّدَّعُونَ [Prophet], stand firm in your devotion to the upright religion, before an irresistible Day comes from God. On that Day, mankind will be divided:
- 30:57 Ar-Rum فَيَوْمَئِذٍ فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يَنفَعُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ مَعْذِرَتُهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ On that Day the evildoers’ excuses will be of no use to them: they will not be allowed to make amends.
- 37:33 As-Saffat يَوْمَئِذٍ فَإِنَّهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ مُشْتَرِكُونَ On that Day they will all share the torment:
- 40:9 Ghafir يَوْمَئِذٍ وَقِهِمُ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ ۚ وَمَن تَقِ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمْتَهُۥ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ Protect them from all evil deeds: those You protect on that Day from [the punishment for] evil deeds will receive Your mercy- that is the supreme triumph.’
- 42:47 Ash-Shuraa يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱسْتَجِيبُوا۟ لِرَبِّكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِىَ يَوْمٌ لَّا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ مَا لَكُم مِّن مَّلْجَإٍ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن نَّكِيرٍ So [people] respond to your Lord before there comes a Day that cannot, against God’s will, be averted- you will have no refuge on that Day, and no possibility of denying [your sins].
- 43:67 Az-Zukhruf يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْأَخِلَّآءُ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ إِلَّا ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ On that Day, friends will become each other’s enemies. Not so the righteous-
- 45:27 Al-Jathiyah يَوْمَئِذٍ وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَخْسَرُ ٱلْمُبْطِلُونَ Control of everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to God. When the Hour comes, those who follow falsehood will be the losers on that Day.
- 52:11 At-Tur يَوْمَئِذٍ فَوَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ Woe on that Day to those who deny the Truth,
- 55:39 Ar-Rahman فَيَوْمَئِذٍ فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يُسْـَٔلُ عَن ذَنۢبِهِۦٓ إِنسٌ وَلَا جَآنٌّ On that Day neither mankind nor jinn will be asked about their sins.
- 69:15 Al-Haqqah فَيَوْمَئِذٍ فَيَوْمَئِذٍ وَقَعَتِ ٱلْوَاقِعَةُ on that Day the Great Event will come to pass.
- 69:16 Al-Haqqah يَوْمَئِذٍ وَٱنشَقَّتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَهِىَ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَاهِيَةٌ The sky will be torn apart on that Day, it will be so frail.
- 69:17 Al-Haqqah يَوْمَئِذٍ وَٱلْمَلَكُ عَلَىٰٓ أَرْجَآئِهَا ۚ وَيَحْمِلُ عَرْشَ رَبِّكَ فَوْقَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ ثَمَـٰنِيَةٌ The angels will be on all sides of it and, on that Day, eight of them will bear the throne of your Lord above them.
- 69:18 Al-Haqqah يَوْمَئِذٍ يَوْمَئِذٍ تُعْرَضُونَ لَا تَخْفَىٰ مِنكُمْ خَافِيَةٌ On that Day you will be brought to judgement and none of your secrets will remain hidden.
- 70:11 Al-Ma'arij يَوْمِئِذٍ يُبَصَّرُونَهُمْ ۚ يَوَدُّ ٱلْمُجْرِمُ لَوْ يَفْتَدِى مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمِئِذٍۭ بِبَنِيهِ even when they are within sight of one another. The guilty person will wish he could save himself from the suffering of that Day by sacrificing his sons,
- 74:9 Al-Muddaththir يَوْمَئِذٍ فَذَٰلِكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَوْمٌ عَسِيرٌ that will be a Day of anguish for the disbelievers.
- 75:10 Al-Qiyamah يَوْمَئِذٍ يَقُولُ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَيْنَ ٱلْمَفَرُّ on that Day man will say, ‘Where can I escape?’
- 75:12 Al-Qiyamah يَوْمَئِذٍ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْمُسْتَقَرُّ they will all return to your Lord on that Day.
- 75:13 Al-Qiyamah يَوْمَئِذٍ يُنَبَّؤُا۟ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ On that Day, man will be told what he put first and what he put last.
- 75:22 Al-Qiyamah يَوْمَئِذٍ وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاضِرَةٌ On that Day there will be radiant faces,
- 75:24 Al-Qiyamah يَوْمَئِذٍ وَوُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بَاسِرَةٌ and on that Day there will be the sad and despairing faces
- 75:30 Al-Qiyamah يَوْمَئِذٍ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْمَسَاقُ on that day he will be driven towards your Lord.
- 77:15 Al-Mursalat يَوْمَئِذٍ وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ Woe, on that Day, to those who denied the truth!
- 77:19 Al-Mursalat يَوْمَئِذٍ وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ Woe, on that Day, to those who denied the truth!
- 77:24 Al-Mursalat يَوْمَئِذٍ وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ Woe, on that Day, to those who denied the truth!
- 77:28 Al-Mursalat يَوْمَئِذٍ وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ Woe, on that Day, to those who denied the truth!
- 77:34 Al-Mursalat يَوْمَئِذٍ وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ Woe, on that Day, to those who denied the truth!
- 77:37 Al-Mursalat يَوْمَئِذٍ وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ Woe, on that Day, to those who denied the truth!
