Verses
- 17:86 Al-Isra وَلَئِن شِئْنَا لَنَذْهَبَنَّ بِٱلَّذِىٓ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ ثُمَّ لَا تَجِدُ لَكَ بِهِۦ عَلَيْنَا وَكِيلًا If We pleased, We could take away what We have revealed to you- then you would find no one to plead for you against Us-
- 18:16 Al-Kahf وَإِذِ ٱعْتَزَلْتُمُوهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَ فَأْوُۥٓا۟ إِلَى ٱلْكَهْفِ يَنشُرْ لَكُمْ رَبُّكُم مِّن رَّحْمَتِهِۦ وَيُهَيِّئْ لَكُم مِّنْ أَمْرِكُم مِّرْفَقًا Now that you have left such people, and what they worshipped instead of God, take refuge in the cave. God will shower His mercy on you and make you an easy way out of your ordeal.’
- 19:22 Maryam ۞ فَحَمَلَتْهُ فَٱنتَبَذَتْ بِهِۦ مَكَانًا قَصِيًّا And so it was ordained: she conceived him. She withdrew to a distant place
- 19:48 Maryam وَأَعْتَزِلُكُمْ وَمَا تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَأَدْعُوا۟ رَبِّى عَسَىٰٓ أَلَّآ أَكُونَ بِدُعَآءِ رَبِّى شَقِيًّا but for now I will leave you, and the idols you all pray to, and I will pray to my Lord and trust that my prayer will not be in vain.’
- 19:49 Maryam فَلَمَّا ٱعْتَزَلَهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ إِسْحَـٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ ۖ وَكُلًّا جَعَلْنَا نَبِيًّا When he left his people and those they served beside God, We granted him Isaac and Jacob and made them both prophets:
- 23:18 Al-Mu'minun وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۢ بِقَدَرٍ فَأَسْكَنَّـٰهُ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰ ذَهَابٍۭ بِهِۦ لَقَـٰدِرُونَ We sent water down from the sky in due measure and lodged it in the earth––We have the power to take it all away if We so wish––
- 25:46 Al-Furqan ثُمَّ قَبَضْنَـٰهُ إِلَيْنَا قَبْضًا يَسِيرًا but We gradually draw it towards Us, little by little.
- 32:30 As-Sajdah فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَٱنتَظِرْ إِنَّهُم مُّنتَظِرُونَ So [Prophet], turn away from them and wait: they too are waiting.
- 37:174 As-Saffat فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ So [Prophet] turn away from the disbelievers for a while.
- 37:175 As-Saffat وَأَبْصِرْهُمْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ Watch them: they will soon see.
- 37:178 As-Saffat وَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ [Prophet], turn away from the disbelievers for a while.
- 37:179 As-Saffat وَأَبْصِرْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ Watch them: they will soon see.
- 51:54 Adh-Dhariyat فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِمَلُومٍ so ignore them [Prophet]- you are not to blame-
- 53:29 An-Najm فَأَعْرِضْ عَن مَّن تَوَلَّىٰ عَن ذِكْرِنَا وَلَمْ يُرِدْ إِلَّا ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا So [Prophet] ignore those who turn away from Our revelation, who want only the life of this world.
- 74:33 Al-Muddaththir وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذْ أَدْبَرَ By the departing night!
