Verses
- 2:35 Al-Baqarah وَقُلْنَا يَـٰٓـَٔادَمُ ٱسْكُنْ أَنتَ وَزَوْجُكَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ وَكُلَا مِنْهَا رَغَدًا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمَا وَلَا تَقْرَبَا هَـٰذِهِ ٱلشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ We said, ‘Adam, live with your wife in this garden. Both of you eat freely there as you will, but do not go near this tree, or you will both become wrongdoers.’
- 12:60 Yusuf فَإِن لَّمْ تَأْتُونِى بِهِۦ فَلَا كَيْلَ لَكُمْ عِندِى وَلَا تَقْرَبُونِ You will have no more corn from me if you do not bring him to me, and you will not be permitted to approach me.’
- 53:8 An-Najm ثُمَّ دَنَا فَتَدَلَّىٰ and then approached––coming down
- 53:9 An-Najm فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوْسَيْنِ أَوْ أَدْنَىٰ until he was two bow-lengths away or even closer––
- 53:13 An-Najm وَلَقَدْ رَءَاهُ نَزْلَةً أُخْرَىٰ A second time he saw him:
- 53:14 An-Najm عِندَ سِدْرَةِ ٱلْمُنتَهَىٰ by the lote tree beyond which none may pass
- 53:15 An-Najm عِندَهَا جَنَّةُ ٱلْمَأْوَىٰٓ near the Garden of Restfulness,
- 56:83 Al-Waqi'ah فَلَوْلَآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلْحُلْقُومَ When the soul of a dying man comes up to his throat
- 56:84 Al-Waqi'ah وَأَنتُمْ حِينَئِذٍ تَنظُرُونَ while you gaze on-
- 56:85 Al-Waqi'ah وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنكُمْ وَلَـٰكِن لَّا تُبْصِرُونَ We are nearer to him than you, though you do not see Us-
- 56:86 Al-Waqi'ah فَلَوْلَآ إِن كُنتُمْ غَيْرَ مَدِينِينَ why, if you are not to be judged,
- 56:87 Al-Waqi'ah تَرْجِعُونَهَآ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ do you not restore his soul to him, if what you say is true?
- 75:34 Al-Qiyamah أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰ Closer and closer it comes to you.
- 75:35 Al-Qiyamah ثُمَّ أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰٓ Closer and closer still.
- 96:19 Al-'Alaq كَلَّا لَا تُطِعْهُ وَٱسْجُدْ وَٱقْتَرِب ۩ No! Do not obey him [Prophet]: bow down in worship and draw close.
