Verses
- 87:9 Al-A'la فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ So remind, if reminding will help.
- 87:10 Al-A'la سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخْشَىٰ Those who stand in awe of God will heed the reminder,
- 87:11 Al-A'la وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَشْقَى but it will be ignored by the most wicked,
- 87:12 Al-A'la ٱلَّذِى يَصْلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ who will enter the Great Fire,
- 87:13 Al-A'la ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ where they will neither die nor live.
- 88:21 Al-Ghashiyah فَذَكِّرْ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُذَكِّرٌ So [Prophet] warn them: your only task is to give warning,
- 88:22 Al-Ghashiyah لَّسْتَ عَلَيْهِم بِمُصَيْطِرٍ you are not there to control them.
- 88:23 Al-Ghashiyah إِلَّا مَن تَوَلَّىٰ وَكَفَرَ As for those who turn away and disbelieve,
- 88:24 Al-Ghashiyah فَيُعَذِّبُهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلْأَكْبَرَ God will inflict the greatest torment upon them.
- 88:25 Al-Ghashiyah إِنَّ إِلَيْنَآ إِيَابَهُمْ It is to Us they will return,
- 88:26 Al-Ghashiyah ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا حِسَابَهُم and then it is for Us to call them to account.
