- 3:36 Ali 'Imran ٱلرَّجِيمِ فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْهَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّى وَضَعْتُهَآ أُنثَىٰ وَٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْ وَلَيْسَ ٱلذَّكَرُ كَٱلْأُنثَىٰ ۖ وَإِنِّى سَمَّيْتُهَا مَرْيَمَ وَإِنِّىٓ أُعِيذُهَا بِكَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ ٱلرَّجِيمِ but when she gave birth, she said, ‘My Lord! I have given birth to a girl’- God knew best what she had given birth to: the male is not like the female- ‘ I name her Mary and I commend her and her offspring to Your protection from the rejected Satan.’
- 15:17 Al-Hijr رَّجِيمٍ وَحَفِظْنَـٰهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَـٰنٍ رَّجِيمٍ and guarded it from every stoned satan:
- 15:34 Al-Hijr رَجِيمٌ قَالَ فَٱخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌ ‘Get out of here!’ said God. ‘You are an outcast,

- 81:25 At-Takwir رَّجِيمٍ وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَيْطَـٰنٍ رَّجِيمٍ This is not the word of an outcast devil.
