- 9:1 At-Tawbah بَرَآءَةٌ بَرَآءَةٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦٓ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ عَـٰهَدتُّم مِّنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ A release by God and His Messenger from the treaty you [believers] made with the idolaters [is announced]––
- 54:43 Al-Qamar بَرَآءَةٌ أَكُفَّارُكُمْ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكُمْ أَمْ لَكُم بَرَآءَةٌ فِى ٱلزُّبُرِ ‘Are your disbelievers any better than these? Were you given an exemption in the Scripture?’
