What is it that they "do not perceive"?

Imām Ibn al-Jawzī (d. 597 AH / 1201 CE) said in his book "Zād al-Masīr":
- Allāh informing His Prophet (ﷺ) about their lies. [Ibn ʿAbbās]
- The harms of their disbelief upon their own selves. [Ibn Zayd]
