وَإِذْ
وَٰعَدْنَا
مُوسَىٰٓ
أَرْبَعِينَ
لَيْلَةًۭ
ثُمَّ
ٱتَّخَذْتُمُ
ٱلْعِجْلَ
مِنۢ
بَعْدِهِۦ
وَأَنتُمْ
ظَـٰلِمُونَ

We appointed forty nights for Moses [on Mount Sinai] and then, while he was away, you took to worshipping the calf- a terrible wrong.
