بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
عَلَّمَ
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ
٢
who taught the Quran.
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
خَلَقَ
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ
٣
He created man
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
عَلَّمَهُ
ٱلۡبَيَانَ
٤
and taught him to communicate.
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
ٱلشَّمۡسُ
وَٱلۡقَمَرُ
بِحُسۡبَانٖ
٥
The sun and the moon follow their calculated courses;
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
وَٱلنَّجۡمُ
وَٱلشَّجَرُ
يَسۡجُدَانِ
٦
the plants and the trees submit to His designs;
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
وَٱلسَّمَآءَ
رَفَعَهَا
وَوَضَعَ
ٱلۡمِيزَانَ
٧
He has raised up the sky. He has set the balance
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
أَلَّا
تَطۡغَوۡاْ
فِي
ٱلۡمِيزَانِ
٨
so that you may not exceed in the balance:
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
وَأَقِيمُواْ
ٱلۡوَزۡنَ
بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ
وَلَا
تُخۡسِرُواْ
ٱلۡمِيزَانَ
٩
weigh with justice and do not fall short in the balance.
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
وَضَعَهَا
لِلۡأَنَامِ
١٠
He set down the Earth for His creatures,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
فِيهَا
فَٰكِهَةٞ
وَٱلنَّخۡلُ
ذَاتُ
ٱلۡأَكۡمَامِ
١١
with its fruits, its palm trees with sheathed clusters,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
وَٱلۡحَبُّ
ذُو
ٱلۡعَصۡفِ
وَٱلرَّيۡحَانُ
١٢
its husked grain, its fragrant plants.
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
فَبِأَيِّ
ءَالَآءِ
رَبِّكُمَا
تُكَذِّبَانِ
١٣
Which, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
خَلَقَ
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ
مِن
صَلۡصَٰلٖ
كَٱلۡفَخَّارِ
١٤
He created mankind out of dried clay, like pottery,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
وَخَلَقَ
ٱلۡجَآنَّ
مِن
مَّارِجٖ
مِّن
نَّارٖ
١٥
the jinn out of smokeless fire.
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
فَبِأَيِّ
ءَالَآءِ
رَبِّكُمَا
تُكَذِّبَانِ
١٦
Which, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
رَبُّ
ٱلۡمَشۡرِقَيۡنِ
وَرَبُّ
ٱلۡمَغۡرِبَيۡنِ
١٧
He is Lord of the two risings and Lord of the two settings.
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
فَبِأَيِّ
ءَالَآءِ
رَبِّكُمَا
تُكَذِّبَانِ
١٨
Which, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
مَرَجَ
ٱلۡبَحۡرَيۡنِ
يَلۡتَقِيَانِ
١٩
He released the two bodies of [fresh and salt] water. They meet,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
بَيۡنَهُمَا
بَرۡزَخٞ
لَّا
يَبۡغِيَانِ
٢٠
yet there is a barrier between them they do not cross.
