ذَٰلِكَ
بِأَنَّهُمْ
كَانَت
تَّأْتِيهِمْ
رُسُلُهُم
بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ
فَكَفَرُوا۟
فَأَخَذَهُمُ
ٱللَّهُ ۚ
إِنَّهُۥ
قَوِىٌّۭ
شَدِيدُ
ٱلْعِقَابِ
٢٢
because messengers repeatedly came to them with clear signs and still they rejected them. God destroyed them: He is truly full of strength, severe in punishment.
