- 37:40 الصافات إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ Not so God’s true servants.
- 37:41 الصافات أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ رِزْقٌ مَّعْلُومٌ They will have familiar provisions––
- 37:42 الصافات فَوَٰكِهُ ۖ وَهُم مُّكْرَمُونَ fruits- and will be honoured
- 37:43 الصافات فِى جَنَّـٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ in gardens of delight;
- 37:44 الصافات عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَـٰبِلِينَ seated on couches, facing one another.
- 37:45 الصافات يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِكَأْسٍ مِّن مَّعِينٍۭ A drink will be passed round among them from a flowing spring:
- 37:46 الصافات بَيْضَآءَ لَذَّةٍ لِّلشَّـٰرِبِينَ white, delicious to those who taste it,
- 37:47 الصافات لَا فِيهَا غَوْلٌ وَلَا هُمْ عَنْهَا يُنزَفُونَ causing no headiness or intoxication.
- 37:48 الصافات وَعِندَهُمْ قَـٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ عِينٌ With them will be spouses- modest of gaze and beautiful of eye-
- 37:49 الصافات كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيْضٌ مَّكْنُونٌ like protected eggs.
- 37:50 الصافات فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ They will turn to one another with questions:
- 43:34 الزخرف وَلِبُيُوتِهِمْ أَبْوَٰبًا وَسُرُرًا عَلَيْهَا يَتَّكِـُٔونَ massive gates, couches to sit on,
- 52:20 الطور مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مَّصْفُوفَةٍ ۖ وَزَوَّجْنَـٰهُم بِحُورٍ عِينٍ They are comfortably seated on couches arranged in rows; We pair them with beautiful-eyed maidens;
- 55:54 الرحمن مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشٍۭ بَطَآئِنُهَا مِنْ إِسْتَبْرَقٍ ۚ وَجَنَى ٱلْجَنَّتَيْنِ دَانٍ They will sit on couches upholstered with brocade, the fruit of both gardens within easy reach.
- 55:55 الرحمن فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ Which, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
- 55:56 الرحمن فِيهِنَّ قَـٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَآنٌّ There will be maidens restraining their glances, untouched beforehand by man or jinn.
- 55:57 الرحمن فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ Which, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
- 55:58 الرحمن كَأَنَّهُنَّ ٱلْيَاقُوتُ وَٱلْمَرْجَانُ Like rubies and brilliant pearls.
- 55:59 الرحمن فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ Which, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
- 55:60 الرحمن هَلْ جَزَآءُ ٱلْإِحْسَـٰنِ إِلَّا ٱلْإِحْسَـٰنُ Shall the reward of good be anything but good?
- 56:11 الواقعة أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَ For these will be the ones brought nearest to God
- 56:12 الواقعة فِى جَنَّـٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ in Gardens of Bliss:
- 56:13 الواقعة ثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ many from the past
- 56:14 الواقعة وَقَلِيلٌ مِّنَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ and a few from later generations.
- 56:15 الواقعة عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مَّوْضُونَةٍ On couches of well-woven cloth
- 56:16 الواقعة مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَيْهَا مُتَقَـٰبِلِينَ they will sit facing each other;
- 56:17 الواقعة يَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَٰنٌ مُّخَلَّدُونَ everlasting youths will go round among them
- 56:18 الواقعة بِأَكْوَابٍ وَأَبَارِيقَ وَكَأْسٍ مِّن مَّعِينٍ with glasses, flagons, and cups of a pure drink
- 56:19 الواقعة لَّا يُصَدَّعُونَ عَنْهَا وَلَا يُنزِفُونَ that causes no headache or intoxication;
- 56:20 الواقعة وَفَـٰكِهَةٍ مِّمَّا يَتَخَيَّرُونَ [there will be] any fruit they choose;
- 56:21 الواقعة وَلَحْمِ طَيْرٍ مِّمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ the meat of any bird they like;
- 56:22 الواقعة وَحُورٌ عِينٌ and beautiful companions
- 56:23 الواقعة كَأَمْثَـٰلِ ٱللُّؤْلُؤِ ٱلْمَكْنُونِ like hidden pearls:
- 56:24 الواقعة جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ a reward for what they used to do.
- 56:25 الواقعة لَا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا وَلَا تَأْثِيمًا They will hear no idle or sinful talk there,
- 56:26 الواقعة إِلَّا قِيلًا سَلَـٰمًا سَلَـٰمًا only clean and wholesome speech.
- 56:34 الواقعة وَفُرُشٍ مَّرْفُوعَةٍ with incomparable companions
- 76:13 الانسان مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ فِيهَا عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ ۖ لَا يَرَوْنَ فِيهَا شَمْسًا وَلَا زَمْهَرِيرًا They will sit on couches, feeling neither scorching heat nor biting cold,
- 83:22 المطففين إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ لَفِى نَعِيمٍ The truly good will live in bliss,
- 83:23 المطففين عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ seated on couches, gazing around.
- 83:24 المطففين تَعْرِفُ فِى وُجُوهِهِمْ نَضْرَةَ ٱلنَّعِيمِ You will recognize on their faces the radiance of bliss.
- 83:25 المطففين يُسْقَوْنَ مِن رَّحِيقٍ مَّخْتُومٍ They will be served a sealed nectar,
- 83:26 المطففين خِتَـٰمُهُۥ مِسْكٌ ۚ وَفِى ذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ ٱلْمُتَنَـٰفِسُونَ its seal [perfumed with] a fragrant herb––let those who strive, strive for this––
- 83:27 المطففين وَمِزَاجُهُۥ مِن تَسْنِيمٍ mixed with the water of Tasnim,
- 83:28 المطففين عَيْنًا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَ a spring from which those brought near will drink.
- 83:34 المطففين فَٱلْيَوْمَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْكُفَّارِ يَضْحَكُونَ so today the believers are laughing at the disbelievers
- 83:35 المطففين عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ as they sit on couches, gazing around.
- 88:8 الغاشية وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاعِمَةٌ On that Day there will also be faces radiant with bliss,
- 88:9 الغاشية لِّسَعْيِهَا رَاضِيَةٌ well pleased with their labour,
- 88:10 الغاشية فِى جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ in a lofty garden,
