الآيات
- 7:77 الأعراف فَعَقَرُوا فَعَقَرُوا۟ ٱلنَّاقَةَ وَعَتَوْا۟ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ وَقَالُوا۟ يَـٰصَـٰلِحُ ٱئْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ and then they hamstrung the camel. They defied their Lord’s commandment and said, ‘Salih, bring down the punishment you threaten, if you really are a messenger!’
- 11:65 هود فَعَقَرُوهَا فَعَقَرُوهَا فَقَالَ تَمَتَّعُوا۟ فِى دَارِكُمْ ثَلَـٰثَةَ أَيَّامٍ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ وَعْدٌ غَيْرُ مَكْذُوبٍ But they hamstrung it, so he said, ‘Enjoy life for another three days:
- 26:157 الشعراء فَعَقَرُوهَا فَعَقَرُوهَا فَأَصْبَحُوا۟ نَـٰدِمِينَ But they hamstrung her. In the morning they had cause to regret it:
- 54:29 القمر فَعَقَرَ فَنَادَوْا۟ صَاحِبَهُمْ فَتَعَاطَىٰ فَعَقَرَ But they called their companion, who took a sword and hamstrung the camel.
- 91:14 الشمس فَعَقَرُوهَا فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِذَنۢبِهِمْ فَسَوَّىٰهَا but they called him a liar and hamstrung her. Their Lord destroyed them for their crime and levelled them.
