Dua for Healing a Pain With Allah's Mercy

Our Lord is Allah, who is in the heaven; sacred is Your name. Your command is in the heaven and the earth. As Your mercy is in the heaven, place Your mercy in the earth. Forgive us our wrongdoing and our mistakes; You are the Lord of the good. Send down a mercy from Your mercy and a healing from Your healing upon this pain, so that it is cured.

Rabbunā-llāhu-lladhī fī-s-samāʾi taqaddasa-smuka, amruka fī-s-samāʾi wa-l-arḍi, kamā raḥmatuka fī-s-samāʾi fa-jʿal raḥmataka fī-l-arḍi, ighfir lanā ḥūbanā wa-khaṭāyānā, anta rabbu-ṭ-ṭayyibīn, anzil raḥmatan min raḥmatika, wa-shifāʾan min shifāʾika ʿalā hādhā-l-wajaʿi fa-yabraʾ.

Dua for Fear of Allah and Certainty

O Allah, apportion to us such fear of You as will come between us and disobeying You, and such obedience to You as will bring us to Your Paradise, and such certainty as will make the calamities of this world easy for us. O Allah, let us enjoy our hearing, our sight and our strength for as long as You keep us alive, and make it our inheritor. Place our redress upon those who wronged us, help us against those who show us enmity, do not let our affliction be in our religion, do not make this world our greatest concern or the limit of our knowledge, and do not set over us anyone who will not show us mercy.

Allāhumma-qsim lanā min khashyatika mā yaḥūlu bihi baynanā wa-bayna maʿāṣīka, wa-min ṭāʿatika mā tuballighunā bihi jannataka, wa-mina-l-yaqīni mā tuhawwinu bihi ʿalaynā muṣībāti-d-dunyā. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from miserliness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice, and I seek refuge in You from being sent back to the most worthless stage of life, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of this world, and I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave.

Refuge from Bad Neighbour, Spouse and Hidden Foe

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from an evil neighbour; from a spouse who turns me grey before the time of greying; from a child who becomes a master over me; from wealth that becomes a punishment for me; and from a scheming friend whose eye sees me and whose heart keeps watch on me, who buries any good he sees and spreads any wrong he sees.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min jāri-s-sūʾi, wa-min zawjin tushayyibunī qabla-l-mashīb, wa-min waladin yakūnu ʿalayya rabban, wa-min mālin yakūnu ʿalayya ʿadhāban, wa-min khalīlin mākirin ʿaynuhu tarānī wa-qalbuhu yarʿānī, in raʾā ḥasanatan dafanahā, wa-idhā raʾā sayyiʾatan adhāʿahā.

O Allah, bring our hearts together, set right what is between us, guide us to the paths of peace, and bring us out of the darknesses into the light. Keep us far from indecencies, both the open and the hidden. Bless us in our hearing, our sight, our hearts, our spouses and our offspring, and accept our repentance; You are the One who accepts repentance, the Merciful. Make us grateful for Your blessings, praising You for them and accepting them, and complete them for us.

O Allah, to You I complain of the weakness of my strength, my lack of resourcefulness, and my lowliness before the people. O Most Merciful of those who show mercy, You are the Most Merciful of those who show mercy. To whom do You entrust me? To an enemy who scowls at me, or to a relative to whom You have given control over my affair? If You are not angry with me, I do not care; yet Your well-being is more spacious for me. I seek refuge in the light of Your Face, by which the darkness was illuminated and by which the affairs of this world and the Hereafter are set right, from Your anger descending upon me or Your wrath befalling me. To You belongs the right to be appeased until You are pleased. There is no might and no power except through You.

Allāhumma ilayka ashkū ḍaʿfa quwwatī, wa qillata ḥīlatī, wa hawānī ʿalā-n-nāsi, arḥama-r-rāḥimīna, anta arḥamu-r-rāḥimīna, ilā man takilunī, ilā ʿaduwwin yatajahhamunī aw ilā qarībin mallaktahu amrī, in lam takun ghaḍbāna ʿalayya fa lā ubālī, ghayra anna ʿāfiyataka awsaʿu lī, aʿūdhu bi-nūri wajhika-lladhī ashraqat lahu-ẓ-ẓulumātu, wa ṣalaḥa ʿalayhi amru-d-dunyā wa-l-ākhirati, an tunzila bī ghaḍabaka aw tuḥilla ʿalayya sakhaṭaka, laka-l-ʿutbā ḥattā tarḍā, wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā bika.
