Guilty

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief. I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness. I seek refuge in You from cowardice and miserliness. And I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and from the domination of men.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika mina-l-hammi wa-l-ḥazan, wa aʿūdhu bika mina-l-ʿajzi wa-l-kasal, wa aʿūdhu bika mina-l-jubni wa-l-bukhl, wa aʿūdhu bika min ghalabati-d-dayni wa qahri-r-rijāl.

I ask Allah for forgiveness and I turn to Him in repentance.

Astaghfiru-llāha wa atūbu ilayhi.

O Allah, You are my Lord; there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I hold to Your covenant and Your promise as far as I am able. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge to You Your favour upon me, and I acknowledge to You my sin; so forgive me, for none forgives sins except You.

Allāhumma anta rabbī lā ilāha illā anta, khalaqtanī wa-anā ʿabduka, wa-anā ʿalā ʿahdika wa-waʿdika mā-staṭaʿtu, aʿūdhu bika min sharri mā ṣanaʿtu, abūʾu laka bi-niʿmatika ʿalayya wa-abūʾu laka bi-dhanbī, fa-ghfir lī fa-innahū lā yaghfiru-dh-dhunūba illā ant.

In the name of Allah I have laid down my side. O Allah, forgive me my sin, drive away my devil, free my pledge, and place me among the highest assembly.

Bismi-llāhi waḍaʿtu janbī, Allāhumma-ghfir lī dhanbī, wa-khsa shayṭānī, wa-fukka rihānī, wa-jʿalnī fi-n-nadiyyi-l-aʿlā.

O Allah, put distance between me and my sins, as You have put distance between the east and the west. O Allah, cleanse me of sins as a white garment is cleansed of dirt. O Allah, wash my sins away with water, snow and hail.

Allāhumma bāʿid baynī wa-bayna khaṭāyāya kamā bāʿadta bayna-l-mashriqi wa-l-maghrib. Allāhumma naqqinī mina-l-khaṭāyā kamā yunaqqā-th-thawbu-l-abyaḍu mina-d-danas. Allāhumma-ghsil khaṭāyāya bi-l-māʾi wa-th-thalji wa-l-barad.

O Allah, all praise is Yours, as much as fills the sky and the earth, and as much as fills whatever else You will after that. O Allah, cleanse me with snow, hail and cold water. O Allah, cleanse me of sins and wrongdoings, as a white garment is cleansed of dirt.

Allāhumma laka-l-ḥamdu milʾa-s-samāʾi wa-milʾa-l-arḍi wa-milʾa mā shiʾta min shayʾin baʿdu, Allāhumma ṭahhirnī bi-th-thalji wa-l-baradi wa-l-māʾi-l-bārid, Allāhumma ṭahhirnī mina-dh-dhunūbi wa-l-khaṭāyā ka-mā yunaqqā-th-thawbu-l-abyaḍu mina-l-wasakh.

O Allah, forgive me all my sin: its small and its great, its first and its last, its open and its secret.

Allāhumma-ghfir lī dhanbī kullah, diqqahu wa-jillah, wa-awwalahu wa-ākhirah, wa-ʿalāniyatahu wa-sirrah.

O Allah, I have wronged myself greatly, and none forgives sins except You. So forgive me with a forgiveness from You, and have mercy on me. Truly You are the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful.

Allāhumma innī ẓalamtu nafsī ẓulman kathīran, wa-lā yaghfiru-dh-dhunūba illā anta, fa-ghfir lī maghfiratan min ʿindika, wa-rḥamnī innaka anta-l-ghafūru-r-raḥīm.

O Allah, forgive me what I have sent ahead and what I have left behind, what I have done in secret and what I have done openly, what I have done in excess, and everything about which You know better than I. You are the One who brings forward and the One who puts back. There is no god but You.

Allāhumma-ghfir lī mā qaddamtu wa mā akhkhartu, wa mā asrartu wa mā aʿlantu, wa mā asraftu wa mā anta aʿlamu bihī minnī, anta-l-muqaddimu wa anta-l-muʾakhkhiru, lā ilāha illā ant.

There is no god but You; glory be to You. Indeed, I have been among the wrongdoers.

Lā ilāha illā anta subḥānaka innī kuntu mina-ẓ-ẓālimīn.

My Lord, I have wronged myself, so forgive me.

Rabbi innī ẓalamtu nafsī fa-ghfir lī.

Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves. If You do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we will surely be among the losers.

Rabbanā ẓalamnā anfusanā wa-in lam taghfir lanā wa-tarḥamnā la-nakūnanna mina-l-khāsirīn.

You are our Protector, so forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the best of those who forgive.

Anta waliyyunā fa-ghfir lanā wa-rḥamnā wa-anta khayru-l-ghāfirīn.

Our Lord, indeed we have believed, so forgive us our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

Rabbanā innanā āmannā fa-ghfir lanā dhunūbanā wa-qinā ʿadhāba-n-nār.

Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the best of those who show mercy.

Rabbanā āmannā fa-ghfir lanā wa-rḥamnā wa-anta khayru-r-rāḥimīn.

My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of those who show mercy.

Rabbi-ghfir wa-rḥam wa-anta khayru-r-rāḥimīn.

Our Lord, do not hold us to account if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord, do not lay on us a heavy burden like the one You laid on those before us. Our Lord, do not make us carry what we have no strength for. Pardon us, forgive us and have mercy on us. You are our Protector, so help us against the disbelieving people.

Rabbanā lā tuʾākhidhnā in nasīnā aw akhṭaʾnā, rabbanā wa lā taḥmil ʿalaynā iṣran kamā ḥamaltahū ʿalā-lladhīna min qablinā, rabbanā wa lā tuḥammilnā mā lā ṭāqata lanā bih, wa-ʿfu ʿannā wa-ghfir lanā wa-rḥamnā, anta mawlānā fa-nṣurnā ʿalā-l-qawmi-l-kāfirīn.

O Allah, You are my Lord; there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I keep to Your covenant and Your promise as far as I am able. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge to You Your favour upon me, and I acknowledge to You my sin; so forgive me, for none forgives sins except You.

I have wronged myself and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me all my sins; indeed none forgives sins except You. Guide me to the best of character; none guides to the best of it except You. And turn its evil away from me; none turns its evil away from me except You. Here I am at Your call and at Your service. All good is in Your hands, and evil is not toward You. I am by You and to You. Blessed and exalted are You. I ask Your forgiveness and I turn to You in repentance.

Allāhumma anta-l-maliku lā ilāha illā anta, anta rabbī wa-anā ʿabduka, ẓalamtu nafsī wa-ʿtaraftu bi-dhanbī, fa-ghfir lī dhunūbī jamīʿan, innahu lā yaghfiru-dh-dhunūba illā anta, wa-hdinī li-aḥsani-l-akhlāqi lā yahdī li-aḥsanihā illā anta, wa-ṣrif ʿannī sayyiʾahā lā yaṣrifu ʿannī sayyiʾahā illā anta, labbayka wa-saʿdayk, wa-l-khayru kulluhu fī yadayk, wa-sh-sharru laysa ilayk, anā bika wa-ilayk, tabārakta wa-taʿālayt, astaghfiruka wa-atūbu ilayk.

O Allah, forgive me my error, my ignorance, and my excess in my affairs, and what You know better than I. O Allah, forgive me my earnestness and my jesting, my mistakes and my deliberate acts, and all of that is with me. O Allah, forgive me what I have sent ahead and what I have left behind, what I have concealed and what I have made public, and what You know better than I. You are the One who brings forward and the One who puts back, and You have power over all things.

Allāhumma-ghfir lī khaṭīʾatī wa-jahlī wa-isrāfī fī amrī, wa-mā anta aʿlamu bihi minnī. Allāhumma-ghfir lī jiddī wa-hazlī wa-khaṭaʾī wa-ʿamdī wa-kullu dhālika ʿindī. Allāhumma-ghfir lī mā qaddamtu wa-mā akhkhartu, wa-mā asrartu wa-mā aʿlantu, wa-mā anta aʿlamu bihi minnī, anta-l-muqaddimu wa-anta-l-muʾakhkhiru, wa-anta ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr.

O Allah, You are Ever-Pardoning and You love to pardon, so pardon me.

Allāhumma innaka ʿafuwwun tuḥibbu-l-ʿafwa fa-ʿfu ʿannī.

O Allah, Lord of Muhammad, forgive me my sin, take away the anger of my heart, and protect me from the misleading trials.

Allāhumma rabba Muḥammadini-ghfir lī dhanbī, wa-adhhib ghayẓa qalbī, wa-ajirnī min muḍillāti-l-fitan

O Allah, forgive me all of my sin: the small of it and the great, the first of it and the last, what is done openly and what is done in secret.

O Allah, put distance between me and my sins as You have put distance between the east and the west. O Allah, cleanse me of sins as a white garment is cleansed of dirt. O Allah, wash away my sins with water, snow and hail.

Allāhumma bāʿid baynī wa-bayna khaṭāyāya kamā bāʿadta bayna-l-mashriqi wa-l-maghrib. Allāhumma naqqinī mina-l-khaṭāyā kamā yunaqqā-th-thawbu-l-abyaḍu mina-d-danas. Allāhumma-ghsil khaṭāyāya bi-l-māʾi wa-th-thalji wa-l-barad

O Ever-Living, O Self-Sustaining, I seek help through Your mercy. Set right all my affairs for me, and do not leave me to myself even for the blink of an eye.

Yā ḥayyu yā qayyūmu, bi-raḥmatika astaghīthu, aṣliḥ lī shaʾnī kullahu, wa-lā takilnī ilā nafsī ṭarfata ʿayn

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done, and from the evil of what I have not done.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min sharri mā ʿamiltu, wa-min sharri mā lam aʿmal.

O Allah, any believing servant whom I have insulted, make that a means of nearness to You on the Day of Resurrection.

Allāhumma fa-ayyumā ʿabdin muʾminin sababtuhu fa-jʿal dhālika lahu qurbatan ilayka yawma-l-qiyāmah.

The Ever-Forgiving.

Al-Ghafūr

The Ever-Forgiving.

Al-Ghaffār

The Pardoning.

Al-ʿAfuww

The Ever-Relenting.

At-Tawwāb

The One Who Conceals and Covers Much.

As-Sittīr

I ask forgiveness of Allah, the Magnificent, other than whom there is no god, the Ever-Living, the Self-Sustaining, and I turn back to Him in repentance.

Astaghfiru-llāha-l-ʿaẓīma-lladhī lā ilāha illā huwa-l-ḥayyu-l-qayyūmu wa atūbu ilayh.

There is no god but You; glory be to You. Truly, I have been among the wrongdoers.

O Allah, You are the King; there is no god but You. You are my Lord and I am Your servant. I have wronged myself and I admit my sin, so forgive me all my sins; no one forgives sins except You. Guide me to the best of character; no one guides to the best of it except You. Turn away from me its evil; no one turns its evil away from me except You. Here I am, at Your service and happy to obey. All good is in Your hands, and evil is not attributed to You. I exist by You and return to You. You are blessed and exalted. I ask Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.

Allāhumma anta-l-maliku lā ilāha illā anta, anta rabbī wa-anā ʿabduka, ẓalamtu nafsī wa-ʿtaraftu bi-dhanbī, fa-ghfir lī dhunūbī jamīʿan, innahu lā yaghfiru-dh-dhunūba illā anta, wa-hdinī li-aḥsani-l-akhlāqi lā yahdī li-aḥsanihā illā anta, wa-ṣrif ʿannī sayyiʾahā lā yaṣrifu ʿannī sayyiʾahā illā anta, labbayka wa-saʿdayka, wa-l-khayru kulluhu fī yadayka, wa-sh-sharru laysa ilayka, anā bika wa-ilayka, tabārakta wa-taʿālayta, astaghfiruka wa-atūbu ilayk

O Allah, forgive me my mistake, my ignorance, and my excess in my affairs, and whatever You know better than I do. O Allah, forgive me my earnestness and my jesting, my error and my deliberate wrong, and all of that is within me. O Allah, forgive me what I sent ahead and what I left behind, what I kept secret and what I made public, and whatever You know better than I do. You are the One who brings forward and the One who delays, and You are able to do all things.

Allāhumma-ghfir lī khaṭīʾatī wa-jahlī wa-isrāfī fī amrī, wa-mā anta aʿlamu bihi minnī. Allāhumma-ghfir lī jiddī wa-hazlī wa-khaṭaʾī wa-ʿamdī wa-kullu dhālika ʿindī. Allāhumma-ghfir lī mā qaddamtu wa-mā akhkhartu, wa-mā asrartu wa-mā aʿlantu, wa-mā anta aʿlamu bihi minnī, anta-l-muqaddimu wa-anta-l-muʾakhkhiru, wa-anta ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr.

O Allah, You are the Pardoner and You love to pardon, so pardon me.

O Allah, cover our weak points and make us safe from our fears.

Allāhumma-stur ʿawrātinā wa-āmin rawʿātinā.

My Lord, forgive me and accept my repentance. Truly You are the One who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful.

Rabbi-ghfir lī wa tub ʿalayya, innaka anta-t-tawwābu-r-raḥīm

My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom that will not be fitting for anyone after me. Truly You are the Ever-Giving.

Rabbi-ghfir lī wa-hab lī mulkan lā yanbaghī li-aḥadin min baʿdī, innaka anta-l-wahhāb.

My Lord, forgive me and my brother, and admit us into Your mercy. And You are the Most Merciful of those who show mercy.

Rabbi-ghfir lī wa-li-akhī wa-adkhilnā fī raḥmatika, wa-anta arḥamu-r-rāḥimīn.

My Lord, forgive me, my parents, whoever enters my house as a believer, and all believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in ruin.

Rabbi-ghfir lī wa-li-wālidayya wa-li-man dakhala baytiya muʾminan wa-li-l-muʾminīna wa-l-muʾmināt, wa-lā tazidi-ẓ-ẓālimīna illā tabār.

O Allah, I ask You by Your mercy which encompasses all things, that You forgive me my sins.

Allāhumma innī asʾaluka biraḥmatika-llatī wasiʿat kulla shayʾin an taghfira lī dhunūbī

O Allah, forgive me all my sins and all my mistakes. O Allah, revive me, make me whole, and guide me to righteous deeds and character. None guides to the good of them, and none turns away the bad of them, except You.

Allāhumma-ghfir lī dhunūbī wa khaṭāyāya kullahā, Allāhumma anʿishnī, wa-jburnī, wa-hdinī li-ṣāliḥi-l-aʿmāli wa-l-akhlāq, innahu lā yahdī li-ṣāliḥihā, wa lā yaṣrifu sayyiʾahā illā anta.

O Allah, protect me from the evil of my own self, and make firm my resolve upon the most right of my affairs. O Allah, forgive me what I concealed and what I made public, what I did by mistake, what I did deliberately, and what I did in ignorance.

Allāhumma qinī sharra nafsī, wa-ʿzim lī ʿalā arshadi amrī, Allāhumma-ghfir lī mā asrartu, wa mā aʿlantu, wa mā akhṭaʾtu, wa mā ʿamadtu, wa mā jahiltu.

O Allah, Your forgiveness is wider than my sins, and Your mercy is more to be hoped for by me than my deeds.

Allāhumma maghfiratika awsaʿu min dhunūbī wa raḥmataka arjā ʿindī min ʿamalī.

O Allah, forgive me all my sins that have passed, protect me in what remains of my life, and grant me a pure deed by which You will be pleased with me.

Allāhumma-ghfir lī jamīʿa mā maḍā min dhunūbī, wa-ʿṣimnī fīmā baqiya min ʿumrī, wa-rzuqnī ʿamalan zākiyan tarḍā bihi ʿannī.

O Allah, You know my secret and my open affairs, so accept my excuse; and You know my need, so grant me what I ask.

Allāhumma innaka taʿlamu sirrī wa ʿalāniyatī fa-qbal maʿdhiratī, wa taʿlamu ḥājatī fa-aʿṭinī suʾālī.

O Allah, I repent to You for it; I will never return to it.

Allāhumma innī atūbu ilayka minhā, lā arjiʿu ilayhā abadan.

O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness for my sin, and I seek Your guidance to the most right course in my affairs, and I repent to You, so accept my repentance. O Allah, You are my Lord, so direct my desire toward You, place my richness in my chest, bless me in what You have provided me, and accept from me. Indeed, You are my Lord.

Allāhumma astaghfiruka li-dhanbī, wa astahdīka li-arshadi amrī, wa atūbu ilayka fa-tub ʿalayya, Allāhumma anta rabbī fajʿal raghbatī ilayka, wajʿal ghināʾī fī ṣadrī, wa bārik lī fīmā razaqtanī, wa taqabbal minnī, innaka anta rabbī

My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, and I have submitted with Sulaymān to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

Rabbi innī ẓalamtu nafsī wa aslamtu maʿa Sulaymāna lillāhi Rabbi-l-ʿālamīn.

Glory be to our Lord! Indeed, we were wrongdoers.

subḥāna rabbinā innā kunnā ẓālimīna

O Allah, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, Possessor of Majesty and Honour, I make a covenant with You in this worldly life, and I call You to witness, and You suffice as a witness, that I bear witness that there is no god but You alone, with no partner; Yours is the dominion and Yours is the praise, and You are over all things Powerful. And I bear witness that Muḥammad is Your servant and Your Messenger, and I bear witness that Your promise is true, and meeting You is true, and the Hour is coming, there is no doubt about it, and that You will resurrect those in the graves. And that if You leave me to myself, You leave me to weakness, need, sin and error, and I trust only in Your mercy. So forgive me all my sins, for none forgives sins except You, and accept my repentance; indeed You are the Ever-Accepting of repentance, the Most Merciful.

Allāhumma fāṭira-s-samāwāti wa-l-arḍi ʿālima-l-ghaybi wa-sh-shahādati dhā-l-jalāli wa-l-ikrāmi, fa-innī aʿhadu ilayka fī hādhihi-l-ḥayāti-d-dunyā wa-ushhiduka wa-kafā bika shahīdan annī ashhadu an lā ilāha illā anta waḥdaka lā sharīka laka, laka-l-mulku wa-laka-l-ḥamdu wa-anta ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr, wa-ashhadu anna Muḥammadan ʿabduka wa-rasūluka, wa-ashhadu anna waʿdaka ḥaqqun wa-liqāʾaka ḥaqqun wa-s-sāʿata ātiyatun lā rayba fīhā wa-annaka tabʿathu man fī-l-qubūri, wa-annaka in takilnī ilā nafsī takilnī ilā ḍaʿfin wa-ʿawzatin wa-dhanbin wa-khaṭīʾatin, wa-innī lā athiqu illā bi-raḥmatika, fa-ghfir lī dhunūbī kullahā innahu lā yaghfiru-dh-dhunūba illā anta, wa-tub ʿalayya innaka anta-t-tawwābu-r-raḥīm.

O Allah, You hear my words, and see where I am, and know my secret and my open affairs; nothing of my matter is hidden from You. I am the wretched, the poor, the one who cries for help, the one who seeks refuge, the fearful, the apprehensive, the one who admits and acknowledges his sin. I ask You as the destitute asks, and I plead to You as the lowly sinner pleads, and I call upon You as the fearful and afflicted one calls, whose neck has humbled itself to You, whose eyes have overflowed for You, whose body has been humbled before You, and whose nose has been rubbed in the dust for You. O Allah, do not make me unfortunate in my supplication to You, and be kind and merciful to me, O Best of those who are asked and O Best of those who give.

Allāhumma innaka tasmaʿu kalāmī, wa-tarā makānī, wa-taʿlamu sirrī wa-ʿalāniyatī, lā yakhfā ʿalayka shayʾun min amrī, anā-l-bāʾisu-l-faqīru-l-mustaghīthu-l-mustajīru-l-wajilu-l-mushfiqu-l-muqirru-l-muʿtarifu bi-dhanbihi, asʾaluka masʾalata-l-miskīni wa-abtahilu ilayka ibtihāla-l-mudhnibi-dh-dhalīli, wa-adʿūka duʿāʾa-l-khāʾifi-ḍ-ḍarīri, man khashaʿat laka raqabatuhu, wa-fāḍat laka ʿaynāhu, wa-dhalla laka jasaduhu wa-raghima anfuhu laka. Allāhumma lā tajʿalnī bi-duʿāʾika shaqiyyan, wa-kun bī raʾūfan raḥīman yā khayra-l-masʾūlīna wa-yā khayra-l-muʿṭīna.

O Allah, You are the First and there is nothing before You, and You are the Last and there is nothing after You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of every creature whose forelock is in Your hand. I seek refuge in You from sin and laziness, from the punishment of the Fire and the punishment of the grave, from the trial of wealth and the trial of poverty. And I seek refuge in You from what leads to sin and from debt. O Allah, cleanse my heart of sins as You have cleansed the white garment of dirt. O Allah, put distance between me and my sin as You have put distance between the east and the west.

Allāhumma anta-l-awwalu wa lā shayʾa qablaka, wa anta-l-ākhiru lā shayʾa baʿdaka, aʿūdhu bika min sharri kulli dābbatin nāṣiyatuhā bi-yadika, wa aʿūdhu bika mina-l-ithmi wa-l-kasali, wa min ʿadhābi-n-nāri wa min ʿadhābi-l-qabri, wa min fitnati-l-ghinā wa min fitnati-l-faqri, wa aʿūdhu bika mina-l-maʾthami wa-l-maghrami, Allāhumma naqqi qalbī mina-l-khaṭāyā kamā naqqayta-th-thawba-l-abyaḍa mina-d-danasi, Allāhumma baʿʿid baynī wa bayna khaṭīʾatī kamā baʿʿadta bayna-l-mashriqi wa-l-maghribi

O You who have made the beautiful manifest and veiled the ugly. O You who do not hold a person to account for an offence and do not tear the veil. O Great in pardon, O Excellent in overlooking, O Vast in forgiveness, O You who stretch out both hands with mercy, O Companion of every private conversation, O final end of every complaint, O Generous in forbearance, O Great in favour, O You who begin blessings before they are deserved, O our Lord, O our Master, O our Protector, O ultimate object of our desire, I ask You, O Allah, not to scorch my body with the Fire.

Yā man aẓhara l-jamīla, wa satara l-qabīḥa, yā man lā yuʾākhidhu bi-l-jarīrati, wa lā yahtiku s-sitra, yā ʿaẓīma l-ʿafwi, yā ḥasana t-tajāwuzi, yā wāsiʿa l-maghfirati, yā bāsiṭa l-yadayni bi-r-raḥmati, yā ṣāḥiba kulli najwā, wa yā muntahā kulli shakwā, yā karīma ṣ-ṣafḥi, yā ʿaẓīma l-manni, yā mubtadiʾa n-niʿami qabla stiḥqāqihā, yā rabbanā, wa yā sayyidanā, wa yā mawlānā, wa yā ghāyata raghbatinā, asʾaluka yā Allāhu an lā tashwiya khalqī bi-n-nāri

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Fire, the trial of the grave, the punishment of the grave, the evil of the trial of wealth, and the evil of the trial of poverty. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of the trial of the Dajjāl. O Allah, wash my heart with the water of snow and hail, and cleanse my heart of sins as a white garment is cleansed of dirt, and put distance between me and my sins as You put distance between the east and the west. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from laziness, from sin, and from debt.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min fitnati-n-nāri, wa fitnati-l-qabri, wa ʿadhābi-l-qabri, wa sharri fitnati-l-ghinā, wa sharri fitnati-l-faqri. Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min sharri fitnati-d-dajjāli. Allāhumma-ghsil qalbī bi-māʾi-th-thalji wa-l-baradi, wa naqqi qalbī mina-l-khaṭāyā kamā yunaqqā-th-thawbu-l-abyaḍu mina-d-danasi, wa bāʿid baynī wa bayna khaṭāyāya kamā bāʿadta bayna-l-mashriqi wa-l-maghribi, Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika mina-l-kasali wa-l-maʾthami wa-l-maghrami.

My figure and my image have prostrated to You, and my heart has believed in You. I acknowledge Your blessings upon me, and I confess my great sins. I have wronged myself, so forgive me; none forgives sins except You. I seek refuge in Your pardon from Your punishment, and I seek refuge in Your mercy from Your vengeance, and I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your displeasure, and I seek refuge in You from You. I cannot count the praise due to You; You are as You have praised Yourself.

Sajada laka sawādī wa khayālī, wa āmana laka fuʾādī, abūʾu laka bi-n-niʿam, wa aʿtarifu bi-dh-dhunūbi-l-ʿaẓīmah, ẓalamtu nafsī fa-ghfir lī innahū lā yaghfiru-dh-dhunūba illā ant, aʿūdhu bi-ʿafwika min ʿuqūbatik, wa aʿūdhu bi-raḥmatika min niqmatik, wa aʿūdhu bi-riḍāka min sakhaṭik, wa aʿūdhu bika minka lā uḥṣī thanāʾan ʿalayka anta kamā athnayta ʿalā nafsik.

O Allah, You are the First, so there is nothing before You, and You are the Last, so there is nothing after You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of every creature whose forelock is in Your hand, and I seek refuge in You from sin and debt. O Allah, cleanse my heart of sin as a white garment is cleansed of dirt, and distance me from my wrongdoing as You have distanced the east from the west.

Allāhumma anta-l-awwalu fa-lā shayʾa qablaka, wa anta-l-ākhiru fa-lā shayʾa baʿdaka, aʿūdhu bika min sharri kulli dābbatin nāṣiyatuhā bi-yadika, wa aʿūdhu bika mina-l-maʾthami wa-l-maghrami. There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He is able to do all things. O Allah, forgive me what I have sent forward and what I have left behind, what I have concealed and what I have declared, what I have disclosed and what I have hidden. You are my God; there is no god but You.

Lā ilāha illā-llāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu, lahu-l-mulku wa lahu-l-ḥamdu wa huwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīrun. Allāhumma-ghfir lī mā qaddamtu wa mā akhkhartu, wa mā asrartu wa mā aʿlantu, wa mā abdaytu wa mā akhfaytu, anta ilāhī lā ilāha illā anta.

O Allah, to You belongs all praise; there is no god but You. You are my Lord and I am Your servant. I believe in You, sincere to You in my religion. I have entered the evening upon Your covenant and Your promise as far as I am able. I repent to You from the evil of my deeds, and I seek Your forgiveness for my sins which none forgives except You.

Allāhumma laka-l-ḥamdu lā ilāha illā anta rabbī wa-anā ʿabduka, āmantu bika mukhliṣan laka dīnī amsaytu ʿalā ʿahdika wa-waʿdika mā-staṭaʿtu, atūbu ilayka min sayyiʾi ʿamalī wa-astaghfiruka li-dhunūbī-llatī lā yaghfiruhā illā anta.

My person and my imagination have prostrated to You, and my heart has believed in You. I acknowledge Your favour upon me, and this is what I have inflicted upon myself. O Mighty One, O Mighty One, forgive me, for none forgives the great sins except the Mighty Lord.

Sajada laka siwādī wa khayālī, wa bika āmana fuʾādī, abūʾu bi-niʿmatika ʿalayya, wa hādhā mā janaytu ʿalā nafsī, yā ʿaẓīmu yā ʿaẓīmu, ighfir lī, fa-innahu lā yaghfiru-dh-dhunūba-l-ʿaẓīmata illā-r-rabbu-l-ʿaẓīmu

My person and my imagination have prostrated to You, and my heart has believed in You. This is my hand, and what I have wrought with it against myself. O Great One, You who are hoped for in every great matter, forgive the great sin. My face has prostrated to the One who created it and split open its hearing and its sight.

Sajada laka sawādī wa khayālī, wa āmana bika fuʾādī, hādhihi yadī wa mā janaytu bihā ʿalā nafsī, yā ʿaẓīmu yurjā li-kulli ʿaẓīmin, ighfiri-dh-dhanba-l-ʿaẓīma, sajada wajhī li-lladhī khalaqahu wa shaqqa samʿahu wa baṣarahu

My form and my figure have prostrated to You, and my heart has believed in You. And this is my hand, with which I have wronged myself. O Great One, who forgives the great sin except the Great Lord? So forgive me the great sin.

Sajada laka khayālī wa sawādī, wa āmana bika fuʾādī, wa hādhihi yadī-llatī janaytu bihā ʿalā nafsī, fa-yā ʿaẓīmu, hal yaghfiru-dh-dhanba-l-ʿaẓīma illā-r-rabbu-l-ʿaẓīmu, fa-ghfir lī-dh-dhanba-l-ʿaẓīm.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the sins that prevent Your response. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the sins that prevent Your provision. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the sins that bring down retribution.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika mina-dh-dhunūbi-llatī tamnaʿu ijābataka, Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika mina-dh-dhunūbi-llatī tamnaʿu rizqaka, Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika mina-dh-dhunūbi-llatī tuḥillu-n-niqama.

O Allah, forgive me. O Allah, on the Day of Resurrection place me above many of Your creation among mankind. O Allah, forgive me my sin, and on the Day of Resurrection admit me to a noble entrance.

Allāhumma-ghfir lī, allāhumma-jʿalnī yawma-l-qiyāmati fawqa kathīrin min khalqika mina-n-nāsi, allāhumma-ghfir lī dhanbī, wa-adkhilnī yawma-l-qiyāmati mudkhalan karīmā.

I call upon You, O Allah; I call upon You, O Most Merciful; I call upon You, O Most Kind, Ever-Merciful. And I ask You by all Your Beautiful Names, those of them that I know and those that I do not know, that You forgive me.

Adʿūka Allāhuma, wa adʿūka-r-Raḥmāna, wa adʿūka-l-Barra-r-Raḥīma, wa asʾaluka bi-asmāʾika-l-ḥusnā kullihā, mā ʿalimtu minhā, wa mā lam aʿlam, an taghfira lī.

O Allah, grant me two eyes that pour abundant tears, healing the heart with the flowing of tears out of fear of You, before the tears become blood and the molars become embers.

Allāhumma-rzuqnī ʿaynayni haṭṭālatayni tashfiyāni-l-qalba bi-dhurūfi-d-damʿi min khashyatika qabla an yakūna-d-damʿu daman wa-l-aḍrāsu jamran

O Allah, forgive me my mistake, my deliberate wrong, my jest and my earnestness. Do not deprive me of the blessing of what You have given me, and do not put me to trial concerning what You have withheld from me.

Allāhumma-ghfir lī khaṭaʾī wa ʿamdī wa hazlī wa jiddī, wa lā taḥrimnī barakata mā aʿṭaytanī wa lā taftinnī fīmā aḥramtanī.

O Allah, I ask You by “there is no god but You,” the Forbearing, the Generous. Glory be to Allah, Lord of the Noble Throne, that You forgive me.

Allāhumma innī asʾaluka bi lā ilāha illā anta-l-ḥalīmu-l-karīmu, subḥāna-llāhi rabbi-l-ʿarshi-l-karīmi an taghfira lī.

O Allah, I am only a human being, so do not punish me. Whichever man among the believers I have harmed or insulted, do not punish me for it.

Allāhumma innamā anā basharun fa-lā tuʿāqibnī, ayyumā rajulun mina-l-muʾminīna ādhaytuhu aw shatamtuhu fa-lā tuʿāqibnī fīhi.

O Allah, make me among those who, when they do good, rejoice, and when they do wrong, seek forgiveness.

Allāhumma-jʿalnī mina-lladhīna idhā aḥsanū istabsharū, wa idhā asāʾū istaghfarū.

O Allah, forgive us all our sins, our jesting and our earnestness, and our deliberate acts; and all of that is with us.

Allāhumma-ghfir lanā dhunūbanā kullahā, wa hazlanā wa jiddanā, wa ʿamdanā wa kulla dhālika ʿindanā.

O Allah, this is my doing in what I possess, so do not blame me for what You possess and I do not possess.

Allāhumma hādhā fiʿlī fīmā amliku, fa lā talumnī fīmā tamliku wa lā amliku

O Allah, forgive, forgive! O Allah, pardon, pardon! O Allah, overlook, overlook!

Allāhumma ghufran ghufran, Allāhumma ʿafwan ʿafwan, Allāhumma tajāwuzan tajāwuzan.

My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and guide me to the most upright path.

Rabbi-ghfir wa-rḥam wa-hdinī-s-sabīla-l-aqwam.

O Allah, forgive me my sin, my error and my deliberate act.

Allāhumma-ghfir lī dhanbī wa khaṭīʾatī wa ʿamdī

O Allah, forgive me my sins, my mistakes and my deliberate acts.

Allāhumma-ghfir lī dhunūbī wa khaṭaʾī wa ʿamdī

My Lord, forgive me my sin on the Day of Judgement.

Rabbi-ghfir lī khaṭīʾatī yawma-d-dīn.

I ask Allah for His pardon and His forgiveness.

Asʾalu-llāha muʿāfātahu wa maghfiratahu

O Allah, forgive me on the Day of Resurrection.

Allāhumma-ghfir lī yawma-l-qiyāmati

O You whose pardon is generous.
