Dua for Relief from Worry, Grief and Debt

O Allah, Reliever of worry, Remover of grief, Answerer of the supplication of those in distress, All-Merciful of this world and the Hereafter and Most Merciful to both, You have mercy on me, so have mercy on me with a mercy that makes me need no mercy from anyone other than You.

Allāhumma fārija l-hammi, kāshifa l-ghammi, mujība daʿwati l-muḍṭarrīna, raḥmāna d-dunyā wa-l-ākhirati wa raḥīmahumā, anta tarḥamunī, fa-rḥamnī bi-raḥmatin tughnīnī bihā ʿan raḥmati man siwāka

Complaining of Grief Only to Allah

He said, “I only complain of my anguish and my grief to Allah, and I know from Allah what you do not know.”

Dua of Complaint to Allah in Weakness

O Allah, to You I complain of the weakness of my strength, my lack of resourcefulness, and my lowliness before the people. O Most Merciful of those who show mercy, You are the Most Merciful of those who show mercy. To whom do You entrust me? To an enemy who scowls at me, or to a relative to whom You have given control over my affair? If You are not angry with me, I do not care; yet Your well-being is more spacious for me. I seek refuge in the light of Your Face, by which the darkness was illuminated and by which the affairs of this world and the Hereafter are set right, from Your anger descending upon me or Your wrath befalling me. To You belongs the right to be appeased until You are pleased. There is no might and no power except through You.

Allāhumma ilayka ashkū ḍaʿfa quwwatī, wa qillata ḥīlatī, wa hawānī ʿalā-n-nāsi, arḥama-r-rāḥimīna, anta arḥamu-r-rāḥimīna, ilā man takilunī, ilā ʿaduwwin yatajahhamunī aw ilā qarībin mallaktahu amrī, in lam takun ghaḍbāna ʿalayya fa lā ubālī, ghayra anna ʿāfiyataka awsaʿu lī, aʿūdhu bi-nūri wajhika-lladhī ashraqat lahu-ẓ-ẓulumātu, wa ṣalaḥa ʿalayhi amru-d-dunyā wa-l-ākhirati, an tunzila bī ghaḍabaka aw tuḥilla ʿalayya sakhaṭaka, laka-l-ʿutbā ḥattā tarḍā, wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā bika.

Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return, and indeed to our Lord we shall surely turn back.
