He asks God to incline people’s hearts to turn toward his family, and to provide them with produce, specifically so that they will remain thankful (14:37). How did he address idolatry and those who disobey?

Even as a prophet, Abraham voices an active, lingering concern about the pull of false worship. He explicitly asks God to preserve both him and his offspring from idolatry, noting that idols have already led many people astray (14:35–36).
