وہ موضوعات جو اکثر ان آیات میں پائے جاتے ہیں جن میں یہ مادّہ آتا ہے۔
آیات
- 3:14 Ali 'Imran ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِ زُيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ حُبُّ ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِ مِنَ ٱلنِّسَآءِ وَٱلْبَنِينَ وَٱلْقَنَـٰطِيرِ ٱلْمُقَنطَرَةِ مِنَ ٱلذَّهَبِ وَٱلْفِضَّةِ وَٱلْخَيْلِ ٱلْمُسَوَّمَةِ وَٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ وَٱلْحَرْثِ ۗ ذَٰلِكَ مَتَـٰعُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ وَٱللَّهُ عِندَهُۥ حُسْنُ ٱلْمَـَٔابِ The love of desirable things is made alluring for men- women, children, gold and silver treasures piled up high, horses with fine markings, livestock, and farmland- these may be the joys of this life, but God has the best place to return to.
- 4:27 An-Nisa ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِ وَٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ أَن يَتُوبَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَيُرِيدُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُونَ ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِ أَن تَمِيلُوا۟ مَيْلًا عَظِيمًا He wishes to turn towards you, but those who follow their lusts want you to go far astray.
- 7:81 Al-A'raf شَهْوَةً إِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ ٱلرِّجَالَ شَهْوَةً مِّن دُونِ ٱلنِّسَآءِ ۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّسْرِفُونَ You lust after men rather than women! You transgress all bounds!’
- 16:57 An-Nahl يَشْتَهُونَ وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِلَّهِ ٱلْبَنَـٰتِ سُبْحَـٰنَهُۥ ۙ وَلَهُم مَّا يَشْتَهُونَ They assign daughters to God––may He be exalted!––and the [sons] they desire to themselves.
- 19:59 Maryam ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِ ۞ فَخَلَفَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ خَلْفٌ أَضَاعُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَلْقَوْنَ غَيًّا but there came after them generations who neglected prayer and were driven by their own desires. These will come face to face with their evil,
- 21:102 Al-Anbya ٱشْتَهَتْ لَا يَسْمَعُونَ حَسِيسَهَا ۖ وَهُمْ فِى مَا ٱشْتَهَتْ أَنفُسُهُمْ خَـٰلِدُونَ they will not hear a murmur from it- and endlessly they will enjoy everything their souls desire.
- 27:55 An-Naml شَهْوَةً أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ ٱلرِّجَالَ شَهْوَةً مِّن دُونِ ٱلنِّسَآءِ ۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ تَجْهَلُونَ How can you lust after men instead of women? What fools you are!’
- 34:54 Saba يَشْتَهُونَ وَحِيلَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَ مَا يَشْتَهُونَ كَمَا فُعِلَ بِأَشْيَاعِهِم مِّن قَبْلُ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ فِى شَكٍّ مُّرِيبٍۭ when a barrier has been placed between them and what they desire, just as was done with their kind before? They were deep in doubt and suspicion.
- 41:31 Fussilat تَشْتَهِىٓ نَحْنُ أَوْلِيَآؤُكُمْ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَفِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۖ وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَا تَشْتَهِىٓ أَنفُسُكُمْ وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَا تَدَّعُونَ We are your allies in this world and in the world to come, where you will have everything you desire and ask for
- 43:71 Az-Zukhruf تَشْتَهِيهِ يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِصِحَافٍ مِّن ذَهَبٍ وَأَكْوَابٍ ۖ وَفِيهَا مَا تَشْتَهِيهِ ٱلْأَنفُسُ وَتَلَذُّ ٱلْأَعْيُنُ ۖ وَأَنتُمْ فِيهَا خَـٰلِدُونَ Dishes and goblets of gold will be passed around them with all that their souls desire and their eyes delight in. ‘There you will remain:
- 52:22 At-Tur يَشْتَهُونَ وَأَمْدَدْنَـٰهُم بِفَـٰكِهَةٍ وَلَحْمٍ مِّمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ We provide them with any fruit or meat they desire.
- 56:21 Al-Waqi'ah يَشْتَهُونَ وَلَحْمِ طَيْرٍ مِّمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ the meat of any bird they like;
- 77:42 Al-Mursalat يَشْتَهُونَ وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ and any fruit they desire;
