Quraysh (قريش) is the name of the tribe to which the prophet Muhammad belonged.
Versets
- 106:1 Quraysh لِإِيلَـٰفِ قُرَيْشٍ [He did this] to make the Quraysh feel secure,
- 106:2 Quraysh إِۦلَـٰفِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ ٱلشِّتَآءِ وَٱلصَّيْفِ secure in their winter and summer journeys.
- 106:3 Quraysh فَلْيَعْبُدُوا۟ رَبَّ هَـٰذَا ٱلْبَيْتِ So let them worship the Lord of this House:
- 106:4 Quraysh ٱلَّذِىٓ أَطْعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٍ وَءَامَنَهُم مِّنْ خَوْفٍۭ who provides them with food to ward off hunger, safety to ward off fear.
