- 7:20 Al-A'raf فَوَسْوَسَ فَوَسْوَسَ لَهُمَا ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ لِيُبْدِىَ لَهُمَا مَا وُۥرِىَ عَنْهُمَا مِن سَوْءَٰتِهِمَا وَقَالَ مَا نَهَىٰكُمَا رَبُّكُمَا عَنْ هَـٰذِهِ ٱلشَّجَرَةِ إِلَّآ أَن تَكُونَا مَلَكَيْنِ أَوْ تَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلْخَـٰلِدِينَ Satan whispered to them so as to expose their nakedness, which had been hidden from them: he said, ‘Your Lord only forbade you this tree to prevent you becoming angels or immortals,’
- 20:120 Taha فَوَسْوَسَ فَوَسْوَسَ إِلَيْهِ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ قَالَ يَـٰٓـَٔادَمُ هَلْ أَدُلُّكَ عَلَىٰ شَجَرَةِ ٱلْخُلْدِ وَمُلْكٍ لَّا يَبْلَىٰ But Satan whispered to Adam, saying, ‘Adam, shall I show you the tree of immortality and power that never decays?’
- 50:16 Qaf تُوَسْوِسُ وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ وَنَعْلَمُ مَا تُوَسْوِسُ بِهِۦ نَفْسُهُۥ ۖ وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ ٱلْوَرِيدِ We created man––We know what his soul whispers to him: We are closer to him than his jugular vein––
- 114:4 An-Nas ٱلْوَسْوَاسِ مِن شَرِّ ٱلْوَسْوَاسِ ٱلْخَنَّاسِ against the harm of the slinking whisperer––
- 114:5 An-Nas يُوَسْوِسُ ٱلَّذِى يُوَسْوِسُ فِى صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ who whispers into the hearts of people––
