- 7:133 Al-A'raf وَٱلْجَرَادَ فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلطُّوفَانَ وَٱلْجَرَادَ وَٱلْقُمَّلَ وَٱلضَّفَادِعَ وَٱلدَّمَ ءَايَـٰتٍ مُّفَصَّلَـٰتٍ فَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ قَوْمًا مُّجْرِمِينَ and so We let loose on them the flood, locusts, lice, frogs, blood- all clear signs. They were arrogant, wicked people.
- 54:7 Al-Qamar جَرَادٌ خُشَّعًا أَبْصَـٰرُهُمْ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ كَأَنَّهُمْ جَرَادٌ مُّنتَشِرٌ eyes downcast, they will come out of their graves like swarming locusts
