- 6:76 الأنعام فَلَمَّا جَنَّ عَلَيْهِ ٱلَّيْلُ رَءَا كَوْكَبًا ۖ قَالَ هَـٰذَا رَبِّى ۖ فَلَمَّآ أَفَلَ قَالَ لَآ أُحِبُّ ٱلْـَٔافِلِينَ When the night grew dark over him he saw a star and said, ‘This is my Lord,’ but when it set, he said, ‘I do not like things that set.’
- 6:97 الأنعام وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلنُّجُومَ لِتَهْتَدُوا۟ بِهَا فِى ظُلُمَـٰتِ ٱلْبَرِّ وَٱلْبَحْرِ ۗ قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ It is He who made the stars, so that they can guide you when land and sea are dark: We have made the signs clear for those who have knowledge.
- 7:54 الأعراف إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ يُغْشِى ٱلَّيْلَ ٱلنَّهَارَ يَطْلُبُهُۥ حَثِيثًا وَٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ وَٱلنُّجُومَ مُسَخَّرَٰتٍۭ بِأَمْرِهِۦٓ ۗ أَلَا لَهُ ٱلْخَلْقُ وَٱلْأَمْرُ ۗ تَبَارَكَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ Your Lord is God, who created the heavens and earth in six Days, then established Himself on the throne; He makes the night cover the day in swift pursuit; He created the sun, moon, and stars to be subservient to His command; all creation and command belong to Him. Exalted be God, Lord of all the worlds!
- 15:16 الحجر وَلَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجًا وَزَيَّنَّـٰهَا لِلنَّـٰظِرِينَ We have set constellations up in the sky and made it beautiful for all to see,
- 16:12 النحل وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ وَٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ ۖ وَٱلنُّجُومُ مُسَخَّرَٰتٌۢ بِأَمْرِهِۦٓ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ By His command He has made the night and day, the sun, moon, and stars all of benefit to you. There truly are signs in this for those who use their reason.
- 16:16 النحل وَعَلَـٰمَـٰتٍ ۚ وَبِٱلنَّجْمِ هُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ and landmarks and stars to guide people.
- 22:18 الحج أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَسْجُدُ لَهُۥ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ وَٱلنُّجُومُ وَٱلْجِبَالُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ وَٱلدَّوَآبُّ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ ۖ وَكَثِيرٌ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِ ٱلْعَذَابُ ۗ وَمَن يُهِنِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن مُّكْرِمٍ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَآءُ ۩ Do you not realize [Prophet] that everything in the heavens and earth submits to God: the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees, and the animals? So do many human beings, though for many others punishment is well deserved. Anyone disgraced by God will have no one to honour him: God does whatever He will.
- 24:35 النور ۞ ٱللَّهُ نُورُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ مَثَلُ نُورِهِۦ كَمِشْكَوٰةٍ فِيهَا مِصْبَاحٌ ۖ ٱلْمِصْبَاحُ فِى زُجَاجَةٍ ۖ ٱلزُّجَاجَةُ كَأَنَّهَا كَوْكَبٌ دُرِّىٌّ يُوقَدُ مِن شَجَرَةٍ مُّبَـٰرَكَةٍ زَيْتُونَةٍ لَّا شَرْقِيَّةٍ وَلَا غَرْبِيَّةٍ يَكَادُ زَيْتُهَا يُضِىٓءُ وَلَوْ لَمْ تَمْسَسْهُ نَارٌ ۚ نُّورٌ عَلَىٰ نُورٍ ۗ يَهْدِى ٱللَّهُ لِنُورِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَيَضْرِبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْأَمْثَـٰلَ لِلنَّاسِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ God is the Light of the heavens and earth. His Light is like this: there is a niche, and in it a lamp, the lamp inside a glass, a glass like a glittering star, fuelled from a blessed olive tree from neither east nor west, whose oil almost gives light even when no fire touches it- light upon light- God guides whoever He will to his Light; God draws such comparisons for people; God has full knowledge of everything-
- 25:61 الفرقان تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجًا وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا سِرَٰجًا وَقَمَرًا مُّنِيرًا Exalted is He who put constellations in the heavens, a radiant light, and an illuminating moon-
- 37:88 الصافات فَنَظَرَ نَظْرَةً فِى ٱلنُّجُومِ then he looked up to the stars.
- 37:89 الصافات فَقَالَ إِنِّى سَقِيمٌ He said, ‘I am sick,’
- 52:49 الطور وَمِنَ ٱلَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَإِدْبَـٰرَ ٱلنُّجُومِ Glorify Him at night and at the fading of the stars.
- 53:1 النجم وَٱلنَّجْمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ By the star when it sets!
- 55:6 الرحمن وَٱلنَّجْمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ يَسْجُدَانِ the plants and the trees submit to His designs;
- 56:75 الواقعة ۞ فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِمَوَٰقِعِ ٱلنُّجُومِ I swear by the positions of the stars-
- 56:76 الواقعة وَإِنَّهُۥ لَقَسَمٌ لَّوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عَظِيمٌ a mighty oath, if you only knew-
- 56:77 الواقعة إِنَّهُۥ لَقُرْءَانٌ كَرِيمٌ that this is truly a noble Quran,
- 56:78 الواقعة فِى كِتَـٰبٍ مَّكْنُونٍ in a protected Record
- 56:79 الواقعة لَّا يَمَسُّهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلْمُطَهَّرُونَ that only the purified can touch,
- 56:80 الواقعة تَنزِيلٌ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ sent down from the Lord of all being.
- 77:8 المرسلات فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ When the stars are dimmed
- 79:3 النازعات وَٱلسَّـٰبِحَـٰتِ سَبْحًا sweeping ahead at full stretch,
- 81:2 التكوير وَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ ٱنكَدَرَتْ when the stars are dimmed,
- 81:16 التكوير ٱلْجَوَارِ ٱلْكُنَّسِ that recede, move, and hide,
- 85:1 البروج وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلْبُرُوجِ By the sky with its towering constellations,
- 86:1 الطارق وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلطَّارِقِ By the sky and the night-comer––
- 86:2 الطارق وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلطَّارِقُ What will explain to you what the night-comer is?
- 86:3 الطارق ٱلنَّجْمُ ٱلثَّاقِبُ The piercing star––
