- 8:61 الأنفال ۞ وَإِن جَنَحُوا۟ لِلسَّلْمِ فَٱجْنَحْ لَهَا وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ But if they incline towards peace, you [Prophet] must also incline towards it, and put your trust in God: He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing.
- 9:10 التوبة لَا يَرْقُبُونَ فِى مُؤْمِنٍ إِلًّا وَلَا ذِمَّةً ۚ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُعْتَدُونَ Where believers are concerned, they respect no tie of kinship or treaty. They are the ones who are committing aggression.
- 9:26 التوبة ثُمَّ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ سَكِينَتَهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ وَعَلَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَأَنزَلَ جُنُودًا لَّمْ تَرَوْهَا وَعَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ Then God sent His calm down to His Messenger and the believers, and He sent down invisible forces. He punished the disbelievers- this is what the disbelievers deserve-
- 9:40 التوبة إِلَّا تَنصُرُوهُ فَقَدْ نَصَرَهُ ٱللَّهُ إِذْ أَخْرَجَهُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ثَانِىَ ٱثْنَيْنِ إِذْ هُمَا فِى ٱلْغَارِ إِذْ يَقُولُ لِصَـٰحِبِهِۦ لَا تَحْزَنْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَنَا ۖ فَأَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ سَكِينَتَهُۥ عَلَيْهِ وَأَيَّدَهُۥ بِجُنُودٍ لَّمْ تَرَوْهَا وَجَعَلَ كَلِمَةَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ٱلسُّفْلَىٰ ۗ وَكَلِمَةُ ٱللَّهِ هِىَ ٱلْعُلْيَا ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ Even if you do not help the Prophet, God helped him when the disbelievers drove him out: when the two of them were in the cave, he [Muhammad] said to his companion, ‘Do not worry, God is with us,’ and God sent His calm down to him, aided him with forces invisible to you, and brought down the disbelievers’ plan. God’s plan is higher: God is almighty and wise.
- 10:10 يونس دَعْوَىٰهُمْ فِيهَا سُبْحَـٰنَكَ ٱللَّهُمَّ وَتَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا سَلَـٰمٌ ۚ وَءَاخِرُ دَعْوَىٰهُمْ أَنِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ Their prayer in them will be, ‘Glory be to You, God!’ their greeting, ‘Peace,’ and the last part of their prayer, ‘Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.’
- 13:24 الرعد سَلَـٰمٌ عَلَيْكُم بِمَا صَبَرْتُمْ ۚ فَنِعْمَ عُقْبَى ٱلدَّارِ ‘Peace be with you, because you have remained steadfast. What an excellent reward is this home of yours!’
- 14:23 ابراهيم وَأُدْخِلَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ جَنَّـٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ ۖ تَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا سَلَـٰمٌ but those who believed and did good deeds will be brought into Gardens graced with flowing streams, there to remain with their Lord’s permission: their greeting there is ‘Peace’.
- 15:46 الحجر ٱدْخُلُوهَا بِسَلَـٰمٍ ءَامِنِينَ “Enter them in peace and safety!”––
- 16:32 النحل ٱلَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّىٰهُمُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ طَيِّبِينَ ۙ يَقُولُونَ سَلَـٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْجَنَّةَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ those whose lives the angels take in a state of goodness. They will say to them, ‘Peace be upon you. Enter the Garden as a reward for what you have done.’
- 19:62 مريم لَّا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا إِلَّا سَلَـٰمًا ۖ وَلَهُمْ رِزْقُهُمْ فِيهَا بُكْرَةً وَعَشِيًّا There they will hear only peaceful talk, nothing bad; there they will be given provision morning and evening.
- 25:75 الفرقان أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ يُجْزَوْنَ ٱلْغُرْفَةَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا۟ وَيُلَقَّوْنَ فِيهَا تَحِيَّةً وَسَلَـٰمًا These servants will be rewarded with the highest place in Paradise for their steadfastness. There they will be met with greetings and peace.
- 27:59 النمل قُلِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَسَلَـٰمٌ عَلَىٰ عِبَادِهِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱصْطَفَىٰٓ ۗ ءَآللَّهُ خَيْرٌ أَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ Say [Prophet], ‘Praise be to God and peace on the servants He has chosen. Who is better: God, or those they set up as partners with Him?
- 33:44 الأحزاب تَحِيَّتُهُمْ يَوْمَ يَلْقَوْنَهُۥ سَلَـٰمٌ ۚ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا كَرِيمًا when they meet Him they will be greeted with ‘Peace’- and He has prepared a generous reward for them.
- 36:58 يس سَلَـٰمٌ قَوْلًا مِّن رَّبٍّ رَّحِيمٍ “Peace,” a word from the Lord of Mercy.
- 37:79 الصافات سَلَـٰمٌ عَلَىٰ نُوحٍ فِى ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ‘Peace be upon Noah among all the nations!’
- 37:80 الصافات إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ This is how We reward those who do good:
- 37:81 الصافات إِنَّهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ he was truly one of Our faithful servants.
- 37:108 الصافات وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ and We let him be praised by succeeding generations:
- 37:109 الصافات سَلَـٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ‘Peace be upon Abraham!’
- 37:110 الصافات كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ This is how We reward those who do good:
- 37:111 الصافات إِنَّهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ truly he was one of Our faithful servants.
- 37:119 الصافات وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِمَا فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ We let them be praised by succeeding generations:
- 37:120 الصافات سَلَـٰمٌ عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَـٰرُونَ ‘Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!’
- 37:121 الصافات إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ This is how We reward those who do good:
- 37:122 الصافات إِنَّهُمَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ truly they were among Our faithful servants.
- 37:129 الصافات وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ We let him be praised by succeeding generations:
- 37:130 الصافات سَلَـٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِلْ يَاسِينَ ‘Peace be to Elijah!’
- 37:131 الصافات إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ This is how We reward those who do good:
- 37:132 الصافات إِنَّهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ truly he was one of Our faithful servants.
- 37:181 الصافات وَسَلَـٰمٌ عَلَى ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ Peace be upon the messengers
- 39:73 الزمر وَسِيقَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوْا۟ رَبَّهُمْ إِلَى ٱلْجَنَّةِ زُمَرًا ۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءُوهَا وَفُتِحَتْ أَبْوَٰبُهَا وَقَالَ لَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَا سَلَـٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ طِبْتُمْ فَٱدْخُلُوهَا خَـٰلِدِينَ Those who were mindful of their Lord will be led in throngs to the Garden. When they arrive, they will find its gates wide open, and its keepers will say to them, ‘Peace be upon you. You have been good. Come in: you are here to stay,’
- 48:4 الفتح هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ ٱلسَّكِينَةَ فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ لِيَزْدَادُوٓا۟ إِيمَـٰنًا مَّعَ إِيمَـٰنِهِمْ ۗ وَلِلَّهِ جُنُودُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا It was He who made His tranquillity descend into the hearts of the believers, to add faith to their faith––the forces of the heavens and earth belong to God; He is all knowing and all wise––
- 48:12 الفتح بَلْ ظَنَنتُمْ أَن لَّن يَنقَلِبَ ٱلرَّسُولُ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِيهِمْ أَبَدًا وَزُيِّنَ ذَٰلِكَ فِى قُلُوبِكُمْ وَظَنَنتُمْ ظَنَّ ٱلسَّوْءِ وَكُنتُمْ قَوْمًۢا بُورًا No! You thought that the Messenger and the believers would never return to their families and this thought warmed your hearts. Your thoughts are evil, for you are corrupt people:
- 48:26 الفتح إِذْ جَعَلَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِى قُلُوبِهِمُ ٱلْحَمِيَّةَ حَمِيَّةَ ٱلْجَـٰهِلِيَّةِ فَأَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ سَكِينَتَهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ وَعَلَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَأَلْزَمَهُمْ كَلِمَةَ ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ وَكَانُوٓا۟ أَحَقَّ بِهَا وَأَهْلَهَا ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمًا While the disbelievers had fury in their hearts- the fury of ignorance- God sent His tranquillity down on to His Messenger and the believers and made binding on them [their] promise to obey God, for that was more appropriate and fitting for them. God has full knowledge of all things.
- 56:26 الواقعة إِلَّا قِيلًا سَلَـٰمًا سَلَـٰمًا only clean and wholesome speech.
- 56:91 الواقعة فَسَلَـٰمٌ لَّكَ مِنْ أَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلْيَمِينِ [he will hear], ‘Peace be on you,’ from his companions on the Right;
- 97:5 القدر سَلَـٰمٌ هِىَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ [there is] peace that night until the break of dawn.
