- 69:25 الحاقة وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَـٰبَهُۥ بِشِمَالِهِۦ فَيَقُولُ يَـٰلَيْتَنِى لَمْ أُوتَ كِتَـٰبِيَهْ But anyone who is given his Record in his left hand will say, ‘If only I had never been given any Record
- 69:26 الحاقة وَلَمْ أَدْرِ مَا حِسَابِيَهْ and knew nothing of my Reckoning.
- 69:27 الحاقة يَـٰلَيْتَهَا كَانَتِ ٱلْقَاضِيَةَ How I wish death had been the end of me.
- 69:28 الحاقة مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنِّى مَالِيَهْ ۜ My wealth has been no use to me,
- 69:29 الحاقة هَلَكَ عَنِّى سُلْطَـٰنِيَهْ and my power has vanished.’
- 69:30 الحاقة خُذُوهُ فَغُلُّوهُ ‘Take him, put a collar on him,
- 69:31 الحاقة ثُمَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ صَلُّوهُ lead him to burn in the blazing Fire,
- 69:32 الحاقة ثُمَّ فِى سِلْسِلَةٍ ذَرْعُهَا سَبْعُونَ ذِرَاعًا فَٱسْلُكُوهُ and [bind him] in a chain seventy metres long:
- 69:33 الحاقة إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ لَا يُؤْمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ he would not believe in Almighty God,
- 69:34 الحاقة وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ he never encouraged feeding the hungry,
- 69:35 الحاقة فَلَيْسَ لَهُ ٱلْيَوْمَ هَـٰهُنَا حَمِيمٌ so today he has no real friend here,
- 69:36 الحاقة وَلَا طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِنْ غِسْلِينٍ and the only food he has is the filth
- 69:37 الحاقة لَّا يَأْكُلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلْخَـٰطِـُٔونَ that only sinners eat.’
