- 37:97 الصافات قَالُوا۟ ٱبْنُوا۟ لَهُۥ بُنْيَـٰنًا فَأَلْقُوهُ فِى ٱلْجَحِيمِ They said, ‘Build a pyre and throw him into the blazing fire.’
- 37:103 الصافات فَلَمَّآ أَسْلَمَا وَتَلَّهُۥ لِلْجَبِينِ When they had both submitted to God, and he had laid his son down on the side of his face,
- 37:104 الصافات وَنَـٰدَيْنَـٰهُ أَن يَـٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ We called out to him, ‘Abraham,
- 50:7 ق وَٱلْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَـٰهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَأَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍۭ بَهِيجٍ how We spread out the earth and put solid mountains on it, and caused every kind of joyous plant to grow in it,
- 51:40 الذاريات فَأَخَذْنَـٰهُ وَجُنُودَهُۥ فَنَبَذْنَـٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌ so We seized him and his forces and threw them into the sea: he was to blame.
- 67:7 الملك إِذَآ أُلْقُوا۟ فِيهَا سَمِعُوا۟ لَهَا شَهِيقًا وَهِىَ تَفُورُ They will hear it drawing in its breath when they are thrown in. It blazes forth,
- 67:8 الملك تَكَادُ تَمَيَّزُ مِنَ ٱلْغَيْظِ ۖ كُلَّمَآ أُلْقِىَ فِيهَا فَوْجٌ سَأَلَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَآ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَذِيرٌ almost bursting with rage. Its keepers will ask every group that is thrown in, ‘Did no one come to warn you?’
- 67:9 الملك قَالُوا۟ بَلَىٰ قَدْ جَآءَنَا نَذِيرٌ فَكَذَّبْنَا وَقُلْنَا مَا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ مِن شَىْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَـٰلٍ كَبِيرٍ They will reply, ‘Yes, a warner did come to us, but we did not believe him. We said, “God has revealed nothing: you are greatly misguided”.’
- 67:10 الملك وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْ كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ أَوْ نَعْقِلُ مَا كُنَّا فِىٓ أَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ They will say, ‘If only we had listened, or reasoned, we would not be with the inhabitants of the blazing fire,’ and
- 67:11 الملك فَٱعْتَرَفُوا۟ بِذَنۢبِهِمْ فَسُحْقًا لِّأَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ they will confess their sins. Away with the inhabitants of the blazing fire!
- 74:26 المدثر سَأُصْلِيهِ سَقَرَ I will throw him into the scorching Fire.
- 87:11 الأعلى وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَشْقَى but it will be ignored by the most wicked,
- 87:12 الأعلى ٱلَّذِى يَصْلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ who will enter the Great Fire,
- 87:13 الأعلى ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ where they will neither die nor live.
- 104:4 الهمزة كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِ No indeed! He will be thrust into the Crusher!
