- 12:70 يوسف فَلَمَّا جَهَّزَهُم بِجَهَازِهِمْ جَعَلَ ٱلسِّقَايَةَ فِى رَحْلِ أَخِيهِ ثُمَّ أَذَّنَ مُؤَذِّنٌ أَيَّتُهَا ٱلْعِيرُ إِنَّكُمْ لَسَـٰرِقُونَ and, once he had given them their provisions, he placed the drinking-cup in his brother’s pack. A man called out, ‘People of the caravan! You are thieves!’
- 12:72 يوسف قَالُوا۟ نَفْقِدُ صُوَاعَ ٱلْمَلِكِ وَلِمَن جَآءَ بِهِۦ حِمْلُ بَعِيرٍ وَأَنَا۠ بِهِۦ زَعِيمٌ They replied, ‘The king’s drinking-cup is missing,’ and, ‘Whoever returns it will get a camel-load [of grain],’ and, ‘I give you my word.’
- 12:75 يوسف قَالُوا۟ جَزَٰٓؤُهُۥ مَن وُجِدَ فِى رَحْلِهِۦ فَهُوَ جَزَٰٓؤُهُۥ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ and they answered, ‘The penalty will be [the enslavement of] the person in whose bag the cup is found: this is how we punish wrongdoers.’
- 12:76 يوسف فَبَدَأَ بِأَوْعِيَتِهِمْ قَبْلَ وِعَآءِ أَخِيهِ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَخْرَجَهَا مِن وِعَآءِ أَخِيهِ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كِدْنَا لِيُوسُفَ ۖ مَا كَانَ لِيَأْخُذَ أَخَاهُ فِى دِينِ ٱلْمَلِكِ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ نَرْفَعُ دَرَجَـٰتٍ مَّن نَّشَآءُ ۗ وَفَوْقَ كُلِّ ذِى عِلْمٍ عَلِيمٌ [Joseph] began by searching their bags, then his brother’s, and he pulled it out from his brother’s bag. In this way We devised a plan for Joseph- if God had not willed it so, he could not have detained his brother as a penalty under the king’s law- We raise the rank of whoever We will. Above everyone who has knowledge there is the One who is all knowing.
- 12:79 يوسف قَالَ مَعَاذَ ٱللَّهِ أَن نَّأْخُذَ إِلَّا مَن وَجَدْنَا مَتَـٰعَنَا عِندَهُۥٓ إِنَّآ إِذًا لَّظَـٰلِمُونَ He replied, ‘God forbid that we should take anyone other than the person on whom we found our property: that would be unjust of us.’
- 37:40 الصافات إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ Not so God’s true servants.
- 37:41 الصافات أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ رِزْقٌ مَّعْلُومٌ They will have familiar provisions––
- 37:42 الصافات فَوَٰكِهُ ۖ وَهُم مُّكْرَمُونَ fruits- and will be honoured
- 37:43 الصافات فِى جَنَّـٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ in gardens of delight;
- 37:44 الصافات عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَـٰبِلِينَ seated on couches, facing one another.
- 37:45 الصافات يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِكَأْسٍ مِّن مَّعِينٍۭ A drink will be passed round among them from a flowing spring:
- 37:46 الصافات بَيْضَآءَ لَذَّةٍ لِّلشَّـٰرِبِينَ white, delicious to those who taste it,
- 37:47 الصافات لَا فِيهَا غَوْلٌ وَلَا هُمْ عَنْهَا يُنزَفُونَ causing no headiness or intoxication.
- 37:48 الصافات وَعِندَهُمْ قَـٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ عِينٌ With them will be spouses- modest of gaze and beautiful of eye-
- 37:49 الصافات كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيْضٌ مَّكْنُونٌ like protected eggs.
- 37:50 الصافات فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ They will turn to one another with questions:
- 52:23 الطور يَتَنَـٰزَعُونَ فِيهَا كَأْسًا لَّا لَغْوٌ فِيهَا وَلَا تَأْثِيمٌ They pass around a cup which does not lead to any idle talk or sin.
- 76:5 الانسان إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ يَشْرَبُونَ مِن كَأْسٍ كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا كَافُورًا the righteous will have a drink mixed with kafur,
- 76:17 الانسان وَيُسْقَوْنَ فِيهَا كَأْسًا كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا زَنجَبِيلًا and they will be given a drink infused with ginger
- 78:34 النبإ وَكَأْسًا دِهَاقًا and an overflowing cup.
