- 2:35 البقرة وَقُلْنَا يَـٰٓـَٔادَمُ ٱسْكُنْ أَنتَ وَزَوْجُكَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ وَكُلَا مِنْهَا رَغَدًا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمَا وَلَا تَقْرَبَا هَـٰذِهِ ٱلشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ We said, ‘Adam, live with your wife in this garden. Both of you eat freely there as you will, but do not go near this tree, or you will both become wrongdoers.’
- 12:60 يوسف فَإِن لَّمْ تَأْتُونِى بِهِۦ فَلَا كَيْلَ لَكُمْ عِندِى وَلَا تَقْرَبُونِ You will have no more corn from me if you do not bring him to me, and you will not be permitted to approach me.’
- 53:8 النجم ثُمَّ دَنَا فَتَدَلَّىٰ and then approached––coming down
- 53:9 النجم فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوْسَيْنِ أَوْ أَدْنَىٰ until he was two bow-lengths away or even closer––
- 53:13 النجم وَلَقَدْ رَءَاهُ نَزْلَةً أُخْرَىٰ A second time he saw him:
- 53:14 النجم عِندَ سِدْرَةِ ٱلْمُنتَهَىٰ by the lote tree beyond which none may pass
- 53:15 النجم عِندَهَا جَنَّةُ ٱلْمَأْوَىٰٓ near the Garden of Restfulness,
- 56:83 الواقعة فَلَوْلَآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلْحُلْقُومَ When the soul of a dying man comes up to his throat
- 56:84 الواقعة وَأَنتُمْ حِينَئِذٍ تَنظُرُونَ while you gaze on-
- 56:85 الواقعة وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنكُمْ وَلَـٰكِن لَّا تُبْصِرُونَ We are nearer to him than you, though you do not see Us-
- 56:86 الواقعة فَلَوْلَآ إِن كُنتُمْ غَيْرَ مَدِينِينَ why, if you are not to be judged,
- 56:87 الواقعة تَرْجِعُونَهَآ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ do you not restore his soul to him, if what you say is true?
- 75:34 القيامة أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰ Closer and closer it comes to you.
- 75:35 القيامة ثُمَّ أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰٓ Closer and closer still.
- 96:19 العلق كَلَّا لَا تُطِعْهُ وَٱسْجُدْ وَٱقْتَرِب ۩ No! Do not obey him [Prophet]: bow down in worship and draw close.
