- 6:2 الأنعام هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُم مِّن طِينٍ ثُمَّ قَضَىٰٓ أَجَلًا ۖ وَأَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى عِندَهُۥ ۖ ثُمَّ أَنتُمْ تَمْتَرُونَ He is the one who created you from clay and specified a term [for you] and another fixed time, known only to Him; yet still you doubt!
- 7:12 الأعراف قَالَ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَلَّا تَسْجُدَ إِذْ أَمَرْتُكَ ۖ قَالَ أَنَا۠ خَيْرٌ مِّنْهُ خَلَقْتَنِى مِن نَّارٍ وَخَلَقْتَهُۥ مِن طِينٍ God said, ‘What prevented you from bowing down as I commanded you?’ and he said, ‘I am better than him: You created me from fire and him from clay.’
- 15:26 الحجر وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِن صَلْصَـٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ We created man out of dried clay formed from dark mud-
- 15:74 الحجر فَجَعَلْنَا عَـٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِّن سِجِّيلٍ We turned their city upside down and rained on them a shower of clay stones.
- 17:61 الإسراء وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِـَٔادَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ قَالَ ءَأَسْجُدُ لِمَنْ خَلَقْتَ طِينًا When We said to the angels, ‘Bow down before Adam,’ they all bowed down, but not Iblis. He retorted, ‘Why should I bow down to someone You have created out of clay?’
- 32:7 السجدة ٱلَّذِىٓ أَحْسَنَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ خَلَقَهُۥ ۖ وَبَدَأَ خَلْقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنِ مِن طِينٍ who gave everything its perfect form. He first created man from clay,
- 37:11 الصافات فَٱسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَهُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَم مَّنْ خَلَقْنَآ ۚ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَـٰهُم مِّن طِينٍ لَّازِبٍۭ So [Prophet], ask the disbelievers: is it harder to create them than other beings We have created? We created them from sticky clay.
- 38:71 ص إِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّى خَـٰلِقٌۢ بَشَرًا مِّن طِينٍ Your Lord said to the angels, ‘I will create a man from clay.
- 38:76 ص قَالَ أَنَا۠ خَيْرٌ مِّنْهُ ۖ خَلَقْتَنِى مِن نَّارٍ وَخَلَقْتَهُۥ مِن طِينٍ Iblis said, ‘I am better than him: You made me from fire, and him from clay.’
- 51:33 الذاريات لِنُرْسِلَ عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِّن طِينٍ to bring down rocks of clay,
- 51:34 الذاريات مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ marked by your Lord for those who exceed all bounds.’
- 55:15 الرحمن وَخَلَقَ ٱلْجَآنَّ مِن مَّارِجٍ مِّن نَّارٍ the jinn out of smokeless fire.
- 105:4 الفيل تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ pelting them with pellets of hard-baked clay:
