- 7:195 الأعراف يَبْطِشُونَ أَلَهُمْ أَرْجُلٌ يَمْشُونَ بِهَآ ۖ أَمْ لَهُمْ أَيْدٍ يَبْطِشُونَ بِهَآ ۖ أَمْ لَهُمْ أَعْيُنٌ يُبْصِرُونَ بِهَآ ۖ أَمْ لَهُمْ ءَاذَانٌ يَسْمَعُونَ بِهَا ۗ قُلِ ٱدْعُوا۟ شُرَكَآءَكُمْ ثُمَّ كِيدُونِ فَلَا تُنظِرُونِ Do they have feet to walk, hands to strike, eyes to see, or ears to hear? Say [Prophet], ‘Call on your “partners”! Scheme against me! Do not spare me!
- 26:130 الشعراء بَطَشْتُمبَطَشْتُمْ وَإِذَا بَطَشْتُم بَطَشْتُمْ جَبَّارِينَ Why do you act like tyrants whenever you attack someone?
- 28:19 القصص يَبْطِشَ فَلَمَّآ أَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يَبْطِشَ بِٱلَّذِى هُوَ عَدُوٌّ لَّهُمَا قَالَ يَـٰمُوسَىٰٓ أَتُرِيدُ أَن تَقْتُلَنِى كَمَا قَتَلْتَ نَفْسًۢا بِٱلْأَمْسِ ۖ إِن تُرِيدُ إِلَّآ أَن تَكُونَ جَبَّارًا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا تُرِيدُ أَن تَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُصْلِحِينَ As he was about to attack the man who was an enemy to both of them, the man said, ‘Moses, are you going to kill me as you killed that person yesterday? You clearly want to be a tyrant in the land; you do not intend to put things right.’
- 43:8 الزخرف بَطْشًۭا فَأَهْلَكْنَآ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًا وَمَضَىٰ مَثَلُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ so We have destroyed mightier people than [the disbelievers of Mecca] and their example has gone down in history.
- 44:16 الدخان ٱلْبَطْشَةَنَبْطِشُ يَوْمَ نَبْطِشُ ٱلْبَطْشَةَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰٓ إِنَّا مُنتَقِمُونَ and on the Day We seize [them] mightily We shall exact retribution.
- 50:36 ق بَطْشًۭا وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًا فَنَقَّبُوا۟ فِى ٱلْبِلَـٰدِ هَلْ مِن مَّحِيصٍ We have destroyed even mightier generations before these disbelievers, who travelled through [many] lands- was there any escape?
- 54:36 القمر بَطْشَتَنَا وَلَقَدْ أَنذَرَهُم بَطْشَتَنَا فَتَمَارَوْا۟ بِٱلنُّذُرِ He warned them of Our onslaught, but they dismissed the warning-
- 85:12 البروج بَطْشَ إِنَّ بَطْشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ [Prophet], your Lord’s punishment is truly stern––
