Apply the three rules of a silent meem.

  • Ikhfa before ba, idgham before another meem, and izhar before every other letter.
  • مْ m (sākin) no vowel
  • إِخْفَاء شَفَوِيّ ikhfāʾ shafawī hidden, lips
  • ب bāʾ one letter
  • إِدْغَام شَفَوِيّ idghām shafawī merged mīm
  • م mīm one letter
  • إِظْهَار شَفَوِيّ iẓhār shafawī sounded clearly
  • و ف wāw fāʾ take care
