The Master Supplication for Seeking Forgiveness

اَللّٰهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّيْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ ، خَلَقْتَنِيْ وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ ، وَأَنَا عَلَىٰ عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ ، أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ ، أَبُوْءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ وَأَبُوْءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِيْ ، فَاغْفِرْ لِيْ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوْبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ.

O Allah, You are my Lord; there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I hold to Your covenant and Your promise as far as I am able. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favour upon me, and I acknowledge my sin to You. So forgive me, for no one forgives sins except You.

Allāhumma anta rabbī lā ilāha illā ant, khalaqtanī wa-anā ʿabduk, wa-anā ʿalā ʿahdika wa-waʿdika mā-staṭaʿt, aʿūdhu bika min sharri mā ṣanaʿt, abūʾu laka bi-niʿmatika ʿalayya wa-abūʾu laka bi-dhanbī, fa-ghfir lī fa-innahū lā yaghfiru-dh-dhunūba illā ant.

Refuge from Worry, Debt and Weakness

اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَقَهْرِ الرِّجَالِ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief. I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness. I seek refuge in You from cowardice and miserliness. And I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and from the domination of men.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika mina-l-hammi wa-l-ḥazan, wa aʿūdhu bika mina-l-ʿajzi wa-l-kasal, wa aʿūdhu bika mina-l-jubni wa-l-bukhl, wa aʿūdhu bika min ghalabati-d-dayni wa qahri-r-rijāl.

Seeking Forgiveness and Repenting to Allah

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللّٰهَ وَأَتُوْبُ إِلَيْهِ.

Recite 100×

I ask Allah for forgiveness and I turn to Him in repentance.

Astaghfiru-llāha wa atūbu ilayhi.

The Master Prayer for Seeking Forgiveness

O Allah, You are my Lord; there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I hold to Your covenant and Your promise as far as I am able. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge to You Your favour upon me, and I acknowledge to You my sin; so forgive me, for none forgives sins except You.

Allāhumma anta rabbī lā ilāha illā anta, khalaqtanī wa-anā ʿabduka, wa-anā ʿalā ʿahdika wa-waʿdika mā-staṭaʿtu, aʿūdhu bika min sharri mā ṣanaʿtu, abūʾu laka bi-niʿmatika ʿalayya wa-abūʾu laka bi-dhanbī, fa-ghfir lī fa-innahū lā yaghfiru-dh-dhunūba illā ant.

Forgive Me, For None Forgives but You

اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِيْ ظُلْمًا كَثِيْرًا ، وَّلَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوْبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ ، فَاغْفِرْ لِيْ مَغْفِرَةً مِّنْ عِنْدِكَ ، وَارْحَمْنِيْ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُوْرُ الرَّحِيْمُ.

O Allah, I have wronged myself greatly, and none forgives sins except You. So forgive me with a forgiveness from You, and have mercy on me. Truly You are the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful.

Allāhumma innī ẓalamtu nafsī ẓulman kathīran, wa-lā yaghfiru-dh-dhunūba illā anta, fa-ghfir lī maghfiratan min ʿindika, wa-rḥamnī innaka anta-l-ghafūru-r-raḥīm.

Yūnus's Call from the Belly of the Whale

لَآ إِلٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّيْ كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِيْنَ.

There is no god but You; glory be to You. Indeed, I have been among the wrongdoers.

Lā ilāha illā anta subḥānaka innī kuntu mina-ẓ-ẓālimīn.

Admitting Wrong and Asking Allah's Forgiveness

رَبِّ إِنِّيْ ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِيْ فَاغْفِرْ لِيْ.

My Lord, I have wronged myself, so forgive me.

Rabbi innī ẓalamtu nafsī fa-ghfir lī.

Adam and Ḥawwāʾ's Plea for Forgiveness and Mercy

رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَآ أَنْفُسَنَا وَإِنْ لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ الْخٰسِرِيْنَ.

Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves. If You do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we will surely be among the losers.

Rabbanā ẓalamnā anfusanā wa-in lam taghfir lanā wa-tarḥamnā la-nakūnanna mina-l-khāsirīn.

Mūsā Asks His Protector for Forgiveness and Mercy

أَنْتَ وَلِيُّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا ۖ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْغَافِرِيْنَ.

You are our Protector, so forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the best of those who forgive.

Anta waliyyunā fa-ghfir lanā wa-rḥamnā wa-anta khayru-l-ghāfirīn.

Our Lord, We Believe: Forgive and Protect Us

رَبَّنَآ إِنَّنَآ اٰمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوْبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ.

Our Lord, indeed we have believed, so forgive us our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

Rabbanā innanā āmannā fa-ghfir lanā dhunūbanā wa-qinā ʿadhāba-n-nār.

We Believe, So Forgive and Have Mercy

رَبَّنَآ اٰمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرّٰحِمِيْنَ.

Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the best of those who show mercy.

Rabbanā āmannā fa-ghfir lanā wa-rḥamnā wa-anta khayru-r-rāḥimīn.

My Lord, Forgive and Have Mercy

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرّٰحِمِيْنَ.

My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of those who show mercy.

Rabbi-ghfir wa-rḥam wa-anta khayru-r-rāḥimīn.

Refuge from Asking What I Do Not Know

رَبِّ إِنِّيْ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَسْأَلَكَ مَا لَيْسَ لِيْ بِهِ عِلْمٌ ۖ وَإِلَّا تَغْفِرْ لِيْ وَتَرْحَمْنِيْ أَكُنْ مِّنَ الْخٰسِرِيْنَ.

My Lord, I seek refuge in You from asking You for that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have mercy on me, I will be among the losers.

Rabbi innī aʿūdhu bika an asʾalaka mā laysa lī bihi ʿilm, wa-illā taghfir lī wa-tarḥamnī akun mina-l-khāsirīn.

Sayyid al-Istighfār: The Master Prayer for Forgiveness

O Allah, You are my Lord; there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I keep to Your covenant and Your promise as far as I am able. Forgiveness for Every Kind of Sin

اَللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِيْ خَطِيْئَتِيْ وَجَهْلِيْ وَإِسْرَافِيْ فِيْ أَمْرِيْ ، وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّيْ ، اَللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِيْ جِدِّيْ وَهَزْلِيْ وَخَطَئِيْ وَعَمْدِيْ وَكُلُّ ذٰلِكَ عِنْدِيْ ، اَللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِيْ مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ ، وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ ، وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّـيْ ، أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ ، وَأَنْتَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ.

O Allah, forgive me my error, my ignorance, and my excess in my affairs, and what You know better than I. O Allah, forgive me my earnestness and my jesting, my mistakes and my deliberate acts, and all of that is with me. O Allah, forgive me what I have sent ahead and what I have left behind, what I have concealed and what I have made public, and what You know better than I. You are the One who brings forward and the One who puts back, and You have power over all things.

Allāhumma-ghfir lī khaṭīʾatī wa-jahlī wa-isrāfī fī amrī, wa-mā anta aʿlamu bihi minnī. Allāhumma-ghfir lī jiddī wa-hazlī wa-khaṭaʾī wa-ʿamdī wa-kullu dhālika ʿindī. Allāhumma-ghfir lī mā qaddamtu wa-mā akhkhartu, wa-mā asrartu wa-mā aʿlantu, wa-mā anta aʿlamu bihi minnī, anta-l-muqaddimu wa-anta-l-muʾakhkhiru, wa-anta ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr.

Let My Insult Draw a Believer Nearer

اَللّٰهُمَّ فَأَيُّمَا عَبْدٍ مُّؤْمِنٍ سَبَبْتُهُ فَاجْعَلْ ذٰلِكَ لَهُ قُرْبَةً إِلَيْكَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ.

O Allah, any believing servant whom I have insulted, make that a means of nearness to You on the Day of Resurrection.

Allāhumma fa-ayyumā ʿabdin muʾminin sababtuhu fa-jʿal dhālika lahu qurbatan ilayka yawma-l-qiyāmah.

Al-Ghafūr, the Ever-Forgiving One

The Ever-Forgiving.

The Ever-Forgiving.

At-Tawwāb, the Ever-Accepting of Repentance

Saying Allah Decreed It When Misfortune Strikes

قَدَّرَ اللّٰهُ وَمَا شَاءَ فَعَلَ

Allah has decreed it, and what He willed, He did.

Qaddara-llāhu wa-mā shāʾa faʿal

The Supplication of Yūnus in the Fish

لَآ إِلٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّيْ كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِيْنَ

There is no god but You; glory be to You. Truly, I have been among the wrongdoers.

Seeking Refuge From Asking Without Knowledge

رَبِّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَسْأَلَكَ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِهِ عِلْمٌ ۖ وَإِلَّا تَغْفِرْ لِي وَتَرْحَمْنِي أَكُنْ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ

My Lord, I seek refuge in You from asking You for that of which I have no knowledge. And if You do not forgive me and have mercy on me, I will be among the losers.

Rabbi innī aʿūdhu bika an asʾalaka mā laysa lī bihi ʿilmun, wa-illā taghfir lī wa-tarḥamnī akun mina-l-khāsirīn

Asking Forgiveness and Acceptance of Repentance

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ ، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيْمُ

My Lord, forgive me and accept my repentance. Truly You are the One who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful.

Rabbi-ghfir lī wa tub ʿalayya, innaka anta-t-tawwābu-r-raḥīm

Sulaymān's Prayer for Forgiveness and a Unique Kingdom

رَبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَهَبْ لِى مُلْكًا لَّا يَنۢبَغِى لِأَحَدٍ مِّنۢ بَعْدِىٓ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْوَهَّابُ

My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom that will not be fitting for anyone after me. Truly You are the Ever-Giving.

Rabbi-ghfir lī wa-hab lī mulkan lā yanbaghī li-aḥadin min baʿdī, innaka anta-l-wahhāb.

Prayer for Forgiveness for Oneself and One's Brother

رَبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَلِأَخِى وَأَدْخِلْنَا فِى رَحْمَتِكَ ۖ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ

My Lord, forgive me and my brother, and admit us into Your mercy. And You are the Most Merciful of those who show mercy.

Rabbi-ghfir lī wa-li-akhī wa-adkhilnā fī raḥmatika, wa-anta arḥamu-r-rāḥimīn.

Prayer for Forgiveness for Parents and Believers

رَّبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَلِوَٰلِدَىَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيْتِىَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارًۢا

My Lord, forgive me, my parents, whoever enters my house as a believer, and all believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in ruin.

Rabbi-ghfir lī wa-li-wālidayya wa-li-man dakhala baytiya muʾminan wa-li-l-muʾminīna wa-l-muʾmināt, wa-lā tazidi-ẓ-ẓālimīna illā tabār.

Vow Never to Support the Wrongdoers

رَبِّ بِمَآ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَىَّ فَلَنْ أَكُونَ ظَهِيرًا لِّلْمُجْرِمِينَ

My Lord, because of the favour You have shown me, I will never be a supporter of the criminals.

Rabbi bimā anʿamta ʿalayya fa-lan akūna ẓahīran li-l-mujrimīn.

Dua Hoping in Allah’s Forgiveness and Mercy

اللَّهُمَّ مَغْفِرَتِكَ أَوْسَعُ مِنْ ذُنُوبِي وَرَحْمَتَكَ أَرْجَى عِنْدِي مِنْ عَمَلِي

O Allah, Your forgiveness is wider than my sins, and Your mercy is more to be hoped for by me than my deeds.

Allāhumma maghfiratika awsaʿu min dhunūbī wa raḥmataka arjā ʿindī min ʿamalī.

Dua for Forgiveness, Protection and Pure Deeds

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي جَمِيعَ مَا مَضَى مِنْ ذُنُوبِي، وَاعْصِمْنِي فِيمَا بَقِيَ مِنْ عُمْرِي، وَارْزُقْنِي عَمَلًا زَاكِيًا تَرْضَى بِهِ عَنِّي

O Allah, forgive me all my sins that have passed, protect me in what remains of my life, and grant me a pure deed by which You will be pleased with me.

Allāhumma-ghfir lī jamīʿa mā maḍā min dhunūbī, wa-ʿṣimnī fīmā baqiya min ʿumrī, wa-rzuqnī ʿamalan zākiyan tarḍā bihi ʿannī.

Dua of Repentance After a Sin

اللهمّ إني أتوبُ إليك منها، لا أرجِعُ إليها أبدًا

O Allah, I repent to You for it; I will never return to it.

Allāhumma innī atūbu ilayka minhā, lā arjiʿu ilayhā abadan.

Submission to Allah With Sulaymān

رَبِّ إِنِّى ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِى وَأَسْلَمْتُ مَعَ سُلَيْمَـٰنَ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, and I have submitted with Sulaymān to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

Rabbi innī ẓalamtu nafsī wa aslamtu maʿa Sulaymāna lillāhi Rabbi-l-ʿālamīn.

Glorifying Our Lord and Admitting Wrongdoing

سُبْحَـٰنَ رَبِّنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَـٰلِمِينَ

Glory be to our Lord! Indeed, we were wrongdoers.

subḥāna rabbinā innā kunnā ẓālimīna

Asking to Be Brought Out, Pledging Not to Return

رَبَّنَآ أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْهَا فَإِنْ عُدْنَا فَإِنَّا ظَـٰلِمُونَ

Our Lord, bring us out of it; and if we return, then indeed we will be wrongdoers.

Rabbanā akhrijnā minhā fa-in ʿudnā fa-innā ẓālimūna.

Confession of Sins and Seeking Refuge in Prostration

سَجَدَ لَكَ سَوَادِي وَخَيَالِي، وَآمَنَ لَكَ فُؤَادِي، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِالنِّعَمِ، وَأَعْتَرِفُ بِالذُّنُوبِ الْعَظِيمَةِ، ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي إِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَعُوذُ بِعَفْوِكَ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِكَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنْ نِقْمَتِكَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْكَ لَا أُحْصِي ثَنَاءً عَلَيْكَ أَنْتَ كَمَا أَثْنَيْتَ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ

My figure and my image have prostrated to You, and my heart has believed in You. I acknowledge Your blessings upon me, and I confess my great sins. I have wronged myself, so forgive me; none forgives sins except You. I seek refuge in Your pardon from Your punishment, and I seek refuge in Your mercy from Your vengeance, and I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your displeasure, and I seek refuge in You from You. I cannot count the praise due to You; You are as You have praised Yourself.

Sajada laka sawādī wa khayālī, wa āmana laka fuʾādī, abūʾu laka bi-n-niʿam, wa aʿtarifu bi-dh-dhunūbi-l-ʿaẓīmah, ẓalamtu nafsī fa-ghfir lī innahū lā yaghfiru-dh-dhunūba illā ant, aʿūdhu bi-ʿafwika min ʿuqūbatik, wa aʿūdhu bi-raḥmatika min niqmatik, wa aʿūdhu bi-riḍāka min sakhaṭik, wa aʿūdhu bika minka lā uḥṣī thanāʾan ʿalayka anta kamā athnayta ʿalā nafsik.

Dua of Prostration Seeking Forgiveness

سَجَدَ لَكَ سِوَادِي وَخَيَالِي، وَبِكَ آمَنَ فُؤَادِي، أَبُوءُ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَهَذَا مَا جَنَيْتُ عَلَى نَفْسِي، يَا عَظِيمُ يَا عَظِيمُ، اغْفِرْ لِي، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ الْعَظِيمَةَ إِلَّا الرَّبُّ الْعَظِيمُ

My person and my imagination have prostrated to You, and my heart has believed in You. I acknowledge Your favour upon me, and this is what I have inflicted upon myself. O Mighty One, O Mighty One, forgive me, for none forgives the great sins except the Mighty Lord.

Sajada laka siwādī wa khayālī, wa bika āmana fuʾādī, abūʾu bi-niʿmatika ʿalayya, wa hādhā mā janaytu ʿalā nafsī, yā ʿaẓīmu yā ʿaẓīmu, ighfir lī, fa-innahu lā yaghfiru-dh-dhunūba-l-ʿaẓīmata illā-r-rabbu-l-ʿaẓīmu

Dua in Prostration Seeking Forgiveness for a Great Sin

سَجَدَ لَكَ سَوَادِي وَخَيَالِي وَآمَنَ بِكَ فُؤَادِي، هَذِهِ يَدِي وَمَا جَنَيْتُ بِهَا عَلَى نَفْسِي، يَا عَظِيمُ يُرْجَى لِكُلِّ عَظِيمٍ، اغْفِرِ الذَّنْبَ الْعَظِيمَ، سَجَدَ وَجْهِي لِلَّذِي خَلَقَهُ وَشَقَّ سَمْعَهُ وَبَصَرَهُ

My person and my imagination have prostrated to You, and my heart has believed in You. This is my hand, and what I have wrought with it against myself. O Great One, You who are hoped for in every great matter, forgive the great sin. My face has prostrated to the One who created it and split open its hearing and its sight.

Sajada laka sawādī wa khayālī, wa āmana bika fuʾādī, hādhihi yadī wa mā janaytu bihā ʿalā nafsī, yā ʿaẓīmu yurjā li-kulli ʿaẓīmin, ighfiri-dh-dhanba-l-ʿaẓīma, sajada wajhī li-lladhī khalaqahu wa shaqqa samʿahu wa baṣarahu

Prostration Dua Seeking Forgiveness for a Great Sin

سَجَدَ لَكَ خَيَالِي وسَوَادِي، وَآمَنَ بِكَ فُؤَادِي، وَهَذِهِ يَدِي التي جَنَيْتُ بِهَا عَلَى نَفْسِي، فَيَا عَظِيمُ، هَلْ يَغْفِرُ الذَّنْبَ الْعَظِيمَ إِلَّا الرَّبُّ الْعَظِيمُ، فَاغْفِرْ لِي الذنب العظيم

My form and my figure have prostrated to You, and my heart has believed in You. And this is my hand, with which I have wronged myself. O Great One, who forgives the great sin except the Great Lord? So forgive me the great sin.

Sajada laka khayālī wa sawādī, wa āmana bika fuʾādī, wa hādhihi yadī-llatī janaytu bihā ʿalā nafsī, fa-yā ʿaẓīmu, hal yaghfiru-dh-dhanba-l-ʿaẓīma illā-r-rabbu-l-ʿaẓīmu, fa-ghfir lī-dh-dhanba-l-ʿaẓīm.

Forgiveness for Every Kind of Wrongdoing

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِر لي خطئي وعمدي وهزلي وجدي وَلَا تحرمني بركَة مَا أَعْطَيْتنِي وَلَا تفتني فِيمَا أحرمتني

O Allah, forgive me my mistake, my deliberate wrong, my jest and my earnestness. Do not deprive me of the blessing of what You have given me, and do not put me to trial concerning what You have withheld from me.

Allāhumma-ghfir lī khaṭaʾī wa ʿamdī wa hazlī wa jiddī, wa lā taḥrimnī barakata mā aʿṭaytanī wa lā taftinnī fīmā aḥramtanī.

Dua Not to Be Punished for Harming a Believer

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ فَلَا تُعَاقِبْنِي، أَيُّمَا رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ آذَيْتُهُ أَوْ شَتَمْتُهُ فَلَا تُعَاقِبْنِي فِيهِ

O Allah, I am only a human being, so do not punish me. Whichever man among the believers I have harmed or insulted, do not punish me for it.

Allāhumma innamā anā basharun fa-lā tuʿāqibnī, ayyumā rajulun mina-l-muʾminīna ādhaytuhu aw shatamtuhu fa-lā tuʿāqibnī fīhi.

Seeking Forgiveness, Pardon and Overlooking of Sins

اللَّهُمَّ غفرا غفرا اللَّهُمَّ عفوا عفوا اللَّهُمَّ تجاوزا تجاوزا

O Allah, forgive, forgive! O Allah, pardon, pardon! O Allah, overlook, overlook!

Allāhumma ghufran ghufran, Allāhumma ʿafwan ʿafwan, Allāhumma tajāwuzan tajāwuzan.

Forgiveness for Sin, Error and Deliberate Wrong

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي وَخَطِيئَتِي وَعَمْدِي

O Allah, forgive me my sin, my error and my deliberate act.

Allāhumma-ghfir lī dhanbī wa khaṭīʾatī wa ʿamdī

Forgiveness for Sins, Mistakes and Deliberate Wrongs

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِر لي ذُنُوبِي وخطئ وعمدي

O Allah, forgive me my sins, my mistakes and my deliberate acts.

Allāhumma-ghfir lī dhunūbī wa khaṭaʾī wa ʿamdī

Asking Allah for His Pardon and Forgiveness

أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ مُعَافَاتَهُ وَمَغْفِرَتَهُ

I ask Allah for His pardon and His forgiveness.

Asʾalu-llāha muʿāfātahu wa maghfiratahu

Musa’s (peace be upon him) Glorification and Repentance to Allah

سُبْحَـٰنَكَ تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَأَنَا۠ أَوَّلُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Glory be to You! I repent to You, and I am the first of the believers.

subḥānaka tubtu ilayka wa anā awwalu-l-muʾminīna
