رَبَّنَآ أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَّتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِيْنَ.
Our Lord, pour out patience upon us, and take us in death as Muslims.
Rabbanā afrigh ʿalaynā ṣabran wa-tawaffanā muslimīn

Asking to Be Among Those Who Opened the Door of Patience
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنَا مِنَ الَّذِينَ فَتَحُوا بَابَ الصَّبْرِ , وَأَرْدَمُوا خَنَادِقَ الْجَزَعِ , وَجَازُوا شَدَائِدَ الْعِقَابِ , وَعَبَرُوا جِسْرَ الْهَوَاءِ
O Allah, make us among those who have opened the door of patience, filled in the trenches of impatience, passed through the severities of punishment, and crossed the bridge of the air.
Allāhumma-jʿalnā mina-lladhīna fataḥū bāba-ṣ-ṣabri, wa ardamū khanādiqa-l-jazaʿi, wa jāzū shadāʾida-l-ʿiqābi, wa ʿabarū jisra-l-hawāʾi.

Patience With the Lord's Decree and Glorifying Him
وَٱصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ فَإِنَّكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا ۖ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ
And be patient with the decree of your Lord, for indeed you are under Our eyes; and glorify your Lord with praise when you arise.
Wa-ṣbir li-ḥukmi rabbika fa-innaka bi-aʿyuninā wa-sabbiḥ bi-ḥamdi rabbika ḥīna taqūmu.

Asking Allah for Patience
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الصَّبْرَ
O Allah, I ask You for patience.
Allāhumma innī asʾaluka-ṣ-ṣabra

Asking Allah to Send Down Patience
اللَّهُمَّ نزل صبرك
O Allah, send down Your patience.
Allāhumma nazzil ṣabraka
