ʿAmmār’s Supplication from the Prophet (peace be upon him)

O Allah, by Your knowledge of the unseen and Your power over creation, keep me alive as long as You know life is better for me, and take me when You know death is better for me. O Allah, I ask You for fear of You in the unseen and the seen; for the word of truth in contentment and in anger; for moderation in poverty and in wealth; for a blessing that never ends; for a comfort of the eye that never ceases; for contentment after Your decree; for a cool, easy life after death; for the pleasure of looking at Your Face and the longing to meet You, without harm that injures or trial that misleads. O Allah, adorn us with the adornment of faith, and make us guides who are rightly guided.

Allāhumma bi-ʿilmika-l-ghayba wa qudratika ʿalā-l-khalqi, aḥyinī mā ʿalimta-l-ḥayāta khayran lī, wa tawaffanī idhā ʿalimta-l-wafāta khayran lī. Allāhumma wa asʾaluka khashyataka fī-l-ghaybi wa-sh-shahādah, wa asʾaluka kalimata-l-ḥaqqi fī-r-riḍā wa-l-ghaḍab, wa asʾaluka-l-qaṣda fī-l-faqri wa-l-ghinā, wa asʾaluka naʿīman lā yanfad, wa asʾaluka qurrata ʿaynin lā tanqaṭiʿ, wa asʾaluka-r-riḍā baʿda-l-qaḍāʾ, wa asʾaluka barda-l-ʿayshi baʿda-l-mawt, wa asʾaluka ladhdhata-n-naẓari ilā wajhika wa-sh-shawqa ilā liqāʾik, fī ghayri ḍarrāʾa muḍirrah, wa lā fitnatin muḍillah. Allāhumma zayyinnā bi-zīnati-l-īmān, wa-jʿalnā hudātan muhtadīn.

Musa's Dua Against Pharaoh and His Chiefs

Our Lord, indeed You have given Pharaoh and his chiefs adornment and wealth in the life of this world; our Lord, that they may lead people astray from Your way. Our Lord, obliterate their wealth and harden their hearts, so that they do not believe until they see the painful punishment.
