Dua Acknowledging Allah's Complete Knowledge
English
Our Lord, indeed You know what we conceal and what we make public. And nothing is hidden from Allah on the earth or in the heaven.
Rabbanā innaka taʿlamu mā nukhfī wa mā nuʿlinu, wa mā yakhfā ʿalā-llāhi min shayʾin fī-l-arḍi wa lā fī-s-samāʾi
Reference
- Qur'an 14:38
Explanation
The speakers call on their Lord and affirm that He knows both what they conceal and what they make public. The verse goes on to say that nothing escapes Allah, whether it is on the earth or in the heaven. The pairing of ‘conceal’ and ‘make public’ covers everything inward and outward. It fits the title because it is a duʿā’ that acknowledges Allah’s complete knowledge.
