Explanation
According to the source, the Prophet (peace be upon him) escorted Jaʿfar (may Allah be pleased with him) when he sent him to Abyssinia and provided him with words, saying: Say this. The word ilṭuf comes from luṭf, gentle and subtle kindness, so the dua asks Allah to be kind in making every difficult matter easy. The reason given is that making the difficult easy is simple for Allah. It then asks for taysīr, ease, and muʿāfāh, well-being, in this world and the Hereafter.
