فَكَأَيِّن
مِّن
قَرْيَةٍ
أَهْلَكْنَـٰهَا
وَهِىَ
ظَالِمَةٌۭ
فَهِىَ
خَاوِيَةٌ
عَلَىٰ
عُرُوشِهَا
وَبِئْرٍۢ
مُّعَطَّلَةٍۢ
وَقَصْرٍۢ
مَّشِيدٍ

How many towns steeped in wrongdoing We have destroyed and left in total ruin; how many deserted wells; how many lofty palaces!
