Madani mushaf mode (604 pages), offline download of the whole Quran, and an installable web app. - [Prayer times](https://qurangallery.com/prayer): monthly timetables per city, qibla direction, hijri calendar, Islamic events, 15 calculation methods (MWL, Umm Al-Qura, Karachi, Egyptian, ISNA, JAKIM, Kemenag, Diyanet and more) with per-country defaults. Calendar subscription (iCal / Google Calendar: next 30 days with an alert 10 minutes before each prayer) and a missed-prayer (qaza) tracker. - [Quran Gallery Listen](https://qurangallery.com/listen): streaming recitations by reciter and surah, 230+ reciters, 20 riwayat, audio tafsir, 170+ live Quran radio stations. The [player](https://qurangallery.com/listen/player) has a sleep timer (on radio too), repeat of a surah or the queue, and of an ayah range with a pause on verse-timed recordings, 0.25–2× speed, background play and download as an MP3 file; favorites and playlists work without an account (they stay on the device until you sign in). - [Adhkar](https://qurangallery.com/adhkar): morning/evening remembrances and duas with Arabic, transliteration, translation and source, plus a tasbeeh counter. [Hisnul Muslim (Fortress of the Muslim)](https://qurangallery.com/adhkar/book/hisnul-muslim-fortress-of-the-muslim) is readable chapter by chapter (all 132 chapters in the book's order and numbering), and duas have audio, with Listen to all playing a chapter or collection with each dua repeated its count. The counter offers the after-prayer tasbeeh in its narrated forms (33/33/34, 33×3 plus the tahlil to 100, 25×4, 10×3), each with its hadith source, and a group counter lets a family count one dhikr toward a shared total from a link. No account needed: your streak and history stay in this browser, with export to CSV or JSON, import and clear. Pages you have opened once reopen offline. [Reminders](https://qurangallery.com/adhkar/reminders) makes a repeating daily calendar (.ics) file for the times you pick; the tasbeeh counter has a full-screen focus mode (Space or Enter counts, Backspace undoes). [Sources and gradings](https://qurangallery.com/adhkar/sources) explains the book, number and grading shown with each dhikr; a reference shows where a text is found, not that a hadith is authentic. - [Blog](https://qurangallery.com/blog): articles on Quran, dua, worship and the hereafter; every post cites Quran and hadith sources. RSS: https://qurangallery.com/blog/rss.xml · JSON Feed: https://qurangallery.com/blog/feed.json - [Docs](https://qurangallery.com/docs): end-user documentation for every app. - [Rijal](https://qurangallery.com/rijal): hadith narrator biographies. - [Mirath](https://qurangallery.com/mirath): Islamic inheritance calculator with worked explanations. Choose the school (Ḥanafī, Mālikī, Shāfiʿī, Ḥanbalī); handles ʿawl and radd, shows the calculation step by step, covers named special cases (e.g. al-Mushtaraka, al-Akdariyya, grandfather with siblings), and caps the bequest at one third after debts and funeral costs. - [Chat](https://qurangallery.com/chat): Islamic knowledge assistant that answers from classical texts with sources; an automated check tests each claim against the source it cites. Answers can follow a chosen madhab, and [Quran companion mode](https://qurangallery.com/chat/companion) puts a mushaf page beside the chat. Public pages list [the books it searches](https://qurangallery.com/chat/sources) (eight hadith collections in named editions, the main tafsir works, school libraries), [what it can look up](https://qurangallery.com/chat/tools) and [questions and answers](https://qurangallery.com/chat/faq). A conversation downloads as Markdown with its references, or prints to PDF. Sign-in required to ask. - [MCP](https://qurangallery.com/mcp): free MCP server over a library of 8,594 classical Arabic works by 3,188 authors in 41 categories (Quran, hadith, tafsir, fiqh, aqeedah, language). Endpoint: https://qurangallery.com/mcp/shamela (Streamable HTTP). No account, no sign-in and no key needed; keyless use is limited to 10 requests a minute and 200 a day per IP, and a free key raises it to 60 a minute. 15 read-only tools including `search` and `fetch` for ChatGPT deep research and `shamela_verify_quote`, which checks whether a quoted passage really appears in a named book and returns the page, 3 prompts and a grounding-rules resource. Passages carry book, author, edition, volume and page, verbatim Arabic, main text versus editor's footnote, and a shamela.ws source link. It never grades hadith and gives no rulings. - [Madrasah](https://qurangallery.com/madrasah): learning to read the Quran from the first letter (the Noorani Qaida course), memorisation and recitation practice. ## Key facts - Quran Gallery is a free, ad-free suite of Islamic apps; no advertising code runs on any page. Reading and listening need no account. - One free Quran Gallery account signs you in to every app. Signed in, your data is saved to your account on Quran Gallery's servers and appears on every device where you sign in: in Quran your bookmarks, notes, highlights, collections, reading plans and reading position; in Listen your favorites, playlists, listening history and Quran challenge. Listen keeps them on the device when you are signed out and adds them to your account when you sign in. - Quran Gallery is software at qurangallery.com, an independent project: it is not Quran.com or part of it, and it is not a physical gallery, museum or exhibition of Quran manuscripts. - Quran Gallery is not affiliated with quran.gallery, a separate site run by someone else. - The apps: Quran, Listen, Prayer, Adhkar, Chat, MCP, Mirath, Rijal, Madrasah, Meet, Design Studio and Blog, plus Docs. Each lives under qurangallery.com/ (for example qurangallery.com/mcp); there are no per-app subdomains, and accounts.qurangallery.com is only the sign-in service. - Prayer: 68,000+ cities in 245 countries and territories, 15 calculation methods, Asr by madhab, Hijri calendar with 8 moon-sighting authorities, qibla direction. - Quran: 23 classical and modern tafsirs, 150 translations in 79 languages, word-by-word meanings in 9 languages, scan mode with original printed mushaf pages. - Quran Gallery Listen: 230+ reciters, 20 riwayat, audio tafsir, 170+ live radio stations; sleep timer, repeat (surah everywhere, ayah range on verse-timed recordings), 0.25–2× speed, background play, download as MP3, and favorites and playlists without an account. Details: https://qurangallery.com/listen/player - What makes it different: one platform instead of a separate app per task, and primary sources (printed mushaf pages, classical tafsir, cited hadith) rather than paraphrase. ## Documentation - [Quran Gallery at a glance](https://qurangallery.com/docs/home/the-suite): the suite, its apps and how they differ from typical single-purpose or ad-supported apps. - [Quran study tools](https://qurangallery.com/docs/quran/study-tools): tafsirs, word-by-word grammar, translations. - [Reading the mushaf (Scan mode)](https://qurangallery.com/docs/quran/mushaf-mode): original printed mushaf page scans. - [Prayer times](https://qurangallery.com/docs/prayer/prayer-times): coverage, calculation methods, Asr, location. - [Hijri calendar](https://qurangallery.com/docs/prayer/calendar): moon-sighting authorities and Islamic dates. - [Listen player: sleep timer, repeat, speed](https://qurangallery.com/listen/player): what the Quran Gallery Listen player does, one answer per question. - [Listen overview](https://qurangallery.com/docs/listen/overview): catalogue of reciters, riwayat, tafsir and radio. - [Reciters](https://qurangallery.com/docs/listen/reciters): browsing 230+ reciters. - [MCP server for Islamic texts](https://qurangallery.com/docs/mcp/overview): what the MCP server does and does not do. - [Connect an AI to the Shamela library](https://qurangallery.com/docs/mcp/getting-started): endpoint and first search. - [Connect ChatGPT](https://qurangallery.com/docs/mcp/chatgpt), [Claude](https://qurangallery.com/docs/mcp/claude), [Claude Code](https://qurangallery.com/docs/mcp/claude-code), [Cursor](https://qurangallery.com/docs/mcp/cursor), [VS Code](https://qurangallery.com/docs/mcp/vscode), [Gemini CLI](https://qurangallery.com/docs/mcp/gemini-cli), [GitHub Copilot](https://qurangallery.com/docs/mcp/copilot): per-client setup, no key. - [MCP grounding rules](https://qurangallery.com/docs/mcp/grounding-rules): the citation contract (quote only tool results, main text versus footnote, no invented edition data). - [Hadith takhrij with MCP](https://qurangallery.com/docs/mcp/hadith-takhrij): locating a hadith across collections with its isnad, no grading. - [MCP limits and errors](https://qurangallery.com/docs/mcp/limits-and-errors): 10 a minute and 200 a day keyless, 60 a minute with a key; 401, 403, 429, 503. - [MCP tools](https://qurangallery.com/docs/mcp/tools): every tool with its inputs. Enter the deceased, the estate (with debts, funeral costs and a bequest capped at one third) and the surviving relatives — 33 relations, from the spouse, children and parents to great-grandchildren, nephews, uncles, cousins and the distant relatives (dhawū al-arḥām). It divides the estate in exact fractions, shows each step of the working (ḥisāb) with its Quranic evidence (an-Nisāʾ 4:11, 4:12, 4:176), names who excluded whom, draws the family tree and prints to PDF. The calculation runs in the browser; no account is needed. - Schools: the four Sunni schools — Ḥanafī, Mālikī, Shāfiʿī and Ḥanbalī. Every family is computed in all four; the result says whether they agree and, when they differ, compares them side by side. They differ on the grandfather with siblings, al-Mushtaraka, a sole spouse's surplus, and how distant relatives divide. - Rules covered, each with examples computed by the engine: [ʿawl](https://qurangallery.com/mirath/rules/awl), [radd](https://qurangallery.com/mirath/rules/radd), [ḥajb (blocking)](https://qurangallery.com/mirath/rules/hajb), [ʿaṣaba (residuary heirs)](https://qurangallery.com/mirath/rules/asaba), [aṣl and taṣḥīḥ](https://qurangallery.com/mirath/rules/asl-and-tashih), [al-ʿUmariyyatān](https://qurangallery.com/mirath/rules/umariyyatan), [al-Mushtaraka](https://qurangallery.com/mirath/rules/mushtaraka), [al-Akdariyya](https://qurangallery.com/mirath/rules/akdariyya), [the grandfather with siblings](https://qurangallery.com/mirath/rules/grandfather-and-siblings), [al-muʿādda](https://qurangallery.com/mirath/rules/muadda), [dhawū al-arḥām](https://qurangallery.com/mirath/rules/dhawu-al-arham), [estate deductions](https://qurangallery.com/mirath/rules/estate-deductions). Overview: https://qurangallery.com/mirath/rules - Not covered: the Jaʿfarī (Shia) school, a missing person (mafqūd), an unborn heir (ḥaml), an heir of indeterminate sex (khunthā), and relatives who died together with the order of death unknown. A case a school sends to the public treasury (bayt al-māl) — such as a sole spouse outside the Ḥanafī school — is marked for a scholar's review instead of being given a number. - [Methodology](https://qurangallery.com/mirath/methodology): exact fractions, the order the rules are applied, the step trace, the review cases and the limits. - [Validation](https://qurangallery.com/mirath/test-cases): every test case is computed live by the engine, once per school it names, against its expected shares and classical source. - [Sources](https://qurangallery.com/mirath/sources): the classical farāʾiḍ works the test cases are checked against. - [Schools](https://qurangallery.com/mirath/schools): each school's positions and every test family where the schools differ. - [Verses](https://qurangallery.com/mirath/verses): the inheritance verses 4:11, 4:12 and 4:176 and the shares each fixes. - [Heirs](https://qurangallery.com/mirath/heirs): a page per relation (for example https://qurangallery.com/mirath/heirs/full_sister) with every situation computed and the school differences. - [FAQ](https://qurangallery.com/mirath/faq) · [Docs](https://qurangallery.com/docs/mirath/overview) · Sitemap: https://qurangallery.com/mirath/sitemap.xml - Calculator URL format, to open a family already filled in: https://qurangallery.com/mirath?madhab=hanafi&g=male&estate=100000&wife=1&son=2 — `madhab` is hanafi, maliki, shafii or hanbali; `g` is male or female; `estate` and `currency` are optional; one parameter per relation with its count (son, daughter, wife, husband, father, mother, grandfather, full_brother, full_sister, paternal_sister, maternal_brother, daughter_son, …).
